The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Old Pallavaram permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Refund RFD-01 from Rs.4,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Maraimalai Adigal Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Old Pallavaram holds the older trading core west of the railway line, between GST Road, Darga Road and Old Trunk Road, with timber depots, hardware and paint merchants, travel and airport cab operators, and blue-metal suppliers off Pallavaram hill. The weekly Pallavaram Sandhai and the Cowl Bazaar shops draw the retail crowd. Transport and works-contract billing raise constant reverse charge, e-way bill and rental RCM questions. That is why our GST Refund RFD-01 engagements in Old Pallavaram follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Pallavaram and Pammal run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Old Pallavaram through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Old Pallavaram business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Maraimalai Adigal Street is a residential street in Old Pallavaram, about 850 m north-west of the centre of Old Pallavaram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Teacher Krishnasamy Street (about 50 m); Narasimhan Street (about 100 m); NSK Street (about 100 m); Kamarajar Salai (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Maraimalai Adigal Street can usually be combined with other work in Old Pallavaram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Maraimalai Adigal Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Old Pallavaram pincode is 600117.

CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
What it means for you: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
Section 157, Finance Act, 2026 — omission of Section 13(8)(b) of the IGST Act, 2017 · 2026-03-30
With effect from 30 March 2026, Section 13(8)(b) of the IGST Act was omitted, removing the special rule that fixed the place of supply of intermediary services at the location of the supplier. Such services now fall under the default rule in Section 13(2), placing them at the location of the recipient. For brokers, agents and facilitation and back-office service providers whose clients are overseas, the supply can now qualify as an export of services, opening up LUT-based zero-rated supply and refund of accumulated input tax credit.
Why this matters: Chennai-based agents and intermediaries serving foreign principals should re-examine their export classification, LUT coverage and refund eligibility for supplies made on or after 30 March 2026.
14th GST Council Meeting, Srinagar — 18-19 May 2017 (PIB Release ID 1490274) · 2017-05-18
The Council completed the fitment exercise for goods and broadly approved GST rates at nil, five, twelve, eighteen and twenty-eight per cent across the tariff, along with the rates of GST compensation cess to be levied on specified goods. The chapter-wise, rate-wise schedule dated 18 May 2017 was published on the CBEC website immediately after the meeting, subject to further vetting, and formed the basis of the rate notifications issued for the 1 July 2017 rollout.
What to do about it: The original HSN-wise rate schedule for your products dates from this meeting; classification disputes often turn on how an item was fitted here.
