Searching for dependable GST Notice Reply near Perumbakkam? Our Chennai GST practice completes it from Rs.2,999 with a written checklist, senior-reviewed preparation and full acknowledgement copies, so you always know exactly where your work stands.
We serve businesses on and around Jothi Durai Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Perumbakkam has grown along Semmozhi Salai and Nookampalayam Road, anchored by Gleneagles Global Health City and large gated apartment projects. Builders, interior contractors, diagnostic labs, pharmacies, supermarkets and packers-and-movers dominate the trade here. Developers face the concessional 1 percent and 5 percent housing rates with their domestic procurement condition, alongside reverse charge on unregistered purchases and TDS credit under Section 51. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Notice Reply is available to Perumbakkam businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Medavakkam and Pallikaranai on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Perumbakkam often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Perumbakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Perumbakkam always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Perumbakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
Jothi Durai Street is a residential street in Perumbakkam, about 400 m south-east of the centre of Perumbakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kakkanji Street (about 350 m); Nookampalayam Road (about 500 m); 4th Main Road (about 550 m); 2nd Cross Street (about 600 m) — so a site visit on Jothi Durai Street can usually be combined with other work in Perumbakkam on the same trip. Premier Sales Promotion (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Karnataka High Court, 2023 · 2023-01-16
A company procuring and supplying prepaid vouchers, gift cards and e-vouchers to corporate clients was held liable to GST by the AAR and AAAR. The Karnataka High Court reversed, holding that vouchers are in the nature of pre-deposit instruments or actionable claims — a means of payment for future supplies — and their mere trading is neither a supply of goods nor of services, so no GST is payable on the voucher itself. CBIC later clarified voucher taxation consistently with this position.
What to do about it: Businesses running gift card and reward programmes should tax the underlying redemption supply, not the voucher transaction, and review past assessments in light of this ruling.
37th GST Council Meeting, Goa — 20 September 2019 · 2019-09-20
The Council replaced the declared tariff basis for hotel accommodation with actual transaction value and reset the slabs with effect from 1 October 2019: nil where the value is up to Rs 1,000 per day, 12 per cent between Rs 1,001 and Rs 7,500, and 18 per cent above Rs 7,500. Outdoor catering, other than in premises having daily tariff above Rs 7,500, was reduced from 18 per cent with input tax credit to 5 per cent without credit. This substantially reduced tax on mid-segment hotels and on marriage and event catering.
Why this matters: Chennai hotels and outdoor caterers had to rebuild their rate logic around the actual amount charged, and caterers lost input credit in exchange for the lower five per cent rate.
GSTAT E-Filing Portal advisories, portal operational from 24 September 2025 · 2025-09-24
The GST Appellate Tribunal's e-filing portal at efiling.gstat.gov.in became operational on 24 September 2025, finally giving taxpayers a forum for second appeals against orders of appellate and revisional authorities. Filing of appeals is mandatorily electronic, and advisories prescribe a phased, staggered schedule so that the backlog does not congest the system, with backlog appeals against pre-existing orders permitted to be filed up to 30 June 2026.
Practical effect: List every unfavourable appellate order your business holds and calendar the GSTAT filing windows now, since the backlog window closes on 30 June 2026 and missed tribunal deadlines forfeit the appeal remedy.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
