Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your New GST Registration is completed on the portal from Rs.1,499 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Perungalathur have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Balakrishnan Nagar — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Perungalathur is where the Chennai Bypass Expressway meets GST Road beside the Perungalathur Maempalam, ringing New Perungalathur railway station with warehouses, timber and plywood depots, automobile showrooms, driving schools, grain wholesalers and highway eateries along Nehru Main Road and Kamaraj High Road. Warehouse operators and interstate suppliers live on e-way bills and transporter reverse charge, and roving-squad detentions under Section 129 are a recurring pain. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides New GST Registration to clients across Perungalathur and neighbouring Tambaram and Irumbuliyur, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Perungalathur are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Balakrishnan Nagar is a residential street in Perungalathur, about 2.3 km north of the centre of Perungalathur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 2nd Street (about 50 m); 7th Street (about 250 m); 1st Street (about 350 m); 8th Cross Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Balakrishnan Nagar can usually be combined with other work in Perungalathur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Balakrishnan Nagar falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Perungalathur pincode is 600063.

22nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 6 October 2017 (PIB Release ID 1505133) · 2017-10-06
The Council raised the composition scheme threshold from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 crore of annual aggregate turnover, and from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 75 lakh for Special Category States other than Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, which were given Rs 1 crore. Both migrated and new taxpayers could opt in under the higher threshold up to 31 March 2018, with the option becoming operational from the first day of the month following the month in which it was exercised.
Why this matters: This brought a large part of Chennai's small trading and restaurant sector within reach of quarterly composition filing instead of monthly returns.
Circular No. 216/10/2024-GST · 2024-06-26
This circular amends and supplements the earlier warranty circular. It extends the treatment from replacement of parts to replacement of goods or their parts, so that a full product replacement under warranty is covered on the same basis, with no GST and no credit reversal. It also addresses the position where a distributor replaces goods out of its own stock and is later replenished by the manufacturer, and the treatment of extended warranty sold separately after the original supply.
What it means for you: Chennai dealers who swap out an entire defective product under warranty are now expressly covered, so no output tax or credit reversal is required.
M/s. Ajay Agency v. State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 8507 of 2023, decided 30 March 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-03-30
A consignment of power weeders was intercepted on 6 March 2023 at about 10.30 a.m., the e-way bill having expired at 11.59 p.m. the previous night. The taxpayer pleaded a vehicle breakdown. The Court declined to interfere, noting that the validity could have been extended within the permitted window and had not been, and that the officer's decision to detain and penalise under Section 129(1) was not unreasonable. The writ petition was dismissed with liberty to file a statutory appeal.
What it means for you: Chennai transporters must extend e-way bill validity within the permitted window when a vehicle breaks down; the High Court will not excuse an expired bill merely because of a breakdown.
