Late fees, blocked credit and mismatch notices cost far more than professional help ever will. We complete GST Notice Reply for Ponneri businesses from Rs.2,999, matching every figure against portal data before anything reaches the department.
We serve businesses on and around Thiruvottriyur - Ponneri - Panchetty Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Ponneri looking for GST Notice Reply want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Ponneri is the taluk headquarters north of the Arani river, its trade running along the Thiruvottriyur-Ponneri-Panchetty Road and the Chennai-Pulicat Road, where paddy and grain wholesalers, fertiliser dealers and cement merchants serve villages up to Gummidipoondi alongside the Nelcast foundry and the Dr MGR Fisheries College. Grain traders here need clarity on unbranded versus pre-packaged supplies, and on reverse charge for goods transport agency freight. We serve this belt — including Minjur and Panjetti — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Ponneri business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Ponneri. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Ponneri are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |

M/s. Fastenex (P) Ltd v. State Tax Officer (Inspection-VI) — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 35967, 35970, 35974 and 35976 of 2024 and connected batch, 2026:MHC:2269, decided 8 June 2026 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2026-06-08
A large batch of petitions challenged show cause notices issued under Section 74 for periods from 2021 onwards. The Madras High Court examined whether the jurisdictional facts of fraud, wilful misstatement or suppression of facts to evade tax must be set out in the notice itself, and held that the expression where it appears requires subjective satisfaction supported by material. A notice that does not specify those foundational facts suffers from a jurisdictional defect.
Why this matters: Where a Section 74 notice merely recites the statutory words without alleging specific suppression, challenge the invocation of the extended period at the outset.
Notification No. 8/2018-Central Tax (Rate), dated 25 January 2018 · 2018-01-25
This notification gave second-hand vehicle dealers a concessional rate charged not on the sale price but on the margin, that is the difference between the selling price and the purchase price, or the depreciated value where depreciation was claimed under the Income-tax Act. The concession applied only if the supplier had not availed input tax credit on the vehicle, and where the margin is negative no GST is payable. Compensation cess on such vehicles was separately exempted.
Practical effect: A used-car dealer in Chennai pays GST only on the mark-up, so accurate purchase and sale records for each vehicle are the whole defence in an audit.
Circular No. 141/11/2020-GST dated 24 June 2020 · 2020-06-24
This circular explained Notifications 51, 52 and 53 of 2020-Central Tax issued on the recommendations of the 40th GST Council meeting. The rate of interest was reduced from eighteen to nine per cent for specified periods, and for small taxpayers it was staggered, with nil interest up to a specified date and nine per cent thereafter until 30 September 2020. The conditional waiver of late fee on GSTR-3B was given revised dates for February to April 2020 and extended to May, June and July 2020 for small taxpayers, and late fee on delayed GSTR-1 was waived if filed by the specified dates. Circular No. 136/06/2020-GST was modified to this extent.
How we apply it: The late fee waiver here is conditional: if the GSTR-3B was not filed by the notified date, late fee runs from the original due date, so the actual filing date decides whether any waiver survives.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
