Pulianthope, strung between Pulianthope High Road, Pulianthope Nedunchalai and Ambedkar Kalloori Salai, mixes a long-running mutton and poultry trade with hosiery and garment stitching units, leather goods makers, printing presses and hardware shops on Rangiah Street, Vadamalai Pillai Street and Narasinga Perumal Koil Street. Composition dealers crossing turnover limits, exempt versus taxable meat supplies and job-work returns drive most GST queries here. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to clients across Pulianthope and neighbouring Otteri and Choolai, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Pulianthope business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Pulianthope compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Pulianthope never writes back to you as a demand years later.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Pulianthope through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Pulianthope, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
Brightons Road is a main connecting road in Pulianthope, about 850 m north of the centre of Pulianthope. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — NEW VENKATESAPURAM COLONY 4th ST (about 50 m); NEW VENKATESAPURAM COLONY 3RD cross ST (about 100 m); NEW VENKATESAPURAM COLONY 3RD ST (about 100 m); NEW VENKATESAPURAM COLONY 2ND cross ST (about 100 m) — so a site visit on Brightons Road can usually be combined with other work in Pulianthope on the same trip. GSTN Advisory dated 29 June 2023 — online compliance in Form GST DRC-01B under Rule 88C of the CGST Rules · 2023-06-29
Where the liability declared in GSTR-1 for a tax period exceeds the liability paid through GSTR-3B beyond the prescribed limit, the system issues an intimation in Form GST DRC-01B. The taxpayer must either pay the difference with interest through Form DRC-03 or file a reply in Part B of DRC-01B explaining the reasons, within seven days. If no action is taken, the next GSTR-1 cannot be filed.
What to do about it: Reconcile GSTR-1 with GSTR-3B every month, because an unanswered DRC-01B will block your next outward return.
42nd GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 5 October 2020 · 2020-10-05
The Council approved what became the Quarterly Return Monthly Payment scheme. Registered persons with aggregate annual turnover up to Rs 5 crore were allowed to furnish GSTR-3B on a quarterly basis from 1 January 2021, while paying tax monthly through a challan. The due date for the quarterly GSTR-1 was fixed at the 13th of the month following the quarter, and an invoice furnishing facility was provided so that recipients could still see credit monthly. This remains the default compliance route for most small businesses.
Why this matters: A Chennai business under Rs 5 crore can file GSTR-3B four times a year instead of twelve, but must still deposit tax every month, and missing that monthly challan attracts interest.
Circular No. 164/20/2021-GST dated 06.10.2021 · 2021-10-06
This circular settled several long-running food service disputes. It clarified that service by cloud kitchens and central kitchens is restaurant service attracting 5 per cent without input tax credit, while ice cream parlours that sell already manufactured ice cream without any element of cooking supply goods and attract the applicable goods rate with credit. It also clarified the treatment of coaching services supplied under a government scholarship scheme, overloading charges recovered at toll plazas, and services in relation to admission to amusement parks.
Why this matters: A Chennai cloud kitchen bills at 5 per cent without credit, but an ice cream parlour selling tubs and cones must charge the goods rate and can keep its credits.
