Our consultants provide New GST Registration to businesses across Raja Annamalaipuram starting at Rs.1,499. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Santhome High Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Raja Annamalaipuram pairs elite Greenways Road residences with the MRC Nagar corporate belt, home to the Sun TV Network headquarters, The Leela Palace hotel and media and financial offices facing the estuary. Broadcasters and multi-state corporates here manage ISD registration and cross-charge between branches, while the luxury hotel and serviced-office operators contend with 18 per cent GST on rentals and banquet billing. That is why our New GST Registration engagements in Raja Annamalaipuram follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Mandaveli and Santhome run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Raja Annamalaipuram never writes back to you as a demand years later.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Raja Annamalaipuram always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
Santhome High Road is a primary arterial road in Raja Annamalaipuram, about 600 m east of the centre of Raja Annamalaipuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Janaki Avenue (about 200 m); Karpagam Avenue (about 200 m); Karpagam Avenue 1st Street (about 200 m); South Beach Avenue (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Santhome High Road can usually be combined with other work in Raja Annamalaipuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Santhome High Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Raja Annamalaipuram pincode is 600028.

Kone Elevator India (P) Ltd v. State of Tamil Nadu — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2014) 7 SCC 1, judgment dated 06-05-2014 · 2014-05-06
A five-judge Bench overruled the earlier view and held that a composite contract for manufacture, supply and installation of a lift is a works contract, because the lift comes into existence as a functional unit only on installation at site. The dominant nature test was rejected for contracts falling within the deemed sale of works contracts. The composite character of such contracts is now the basis of works contract taxation under GST.
Practical effect: Chennai contractors doing supply-plus-installation work should classify the transaction as a works contract service under GST rather than splitting it into goods and labour.
Circular No. 187/19/2022-GST · 2022-12-27
Where a resolution plan is approved by the adjudicating authority under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and the government's claim is scaled down, the tax department cannot continue to pursue the original demand. The Board directed officers to give effect to the approved plan by issuing an intimation in FORM GST DRC-25 under Rule 161, reducing the demand in the recovery records to the amount admitted in the plan, and to close recovery proceedings for the balance.
What to do about it: If a Chennai company has come out of insolvency, insist on a DRC-25 intimation so that the old demand stops appearing in the recovery register and blocking registration or refunds.
Notification No. 8/2021-Central Tax (Rate), dated 30 September 2021 · 2021-09-30
Acting on the 45th GST Council recommendation, the Government raised the rate on solar power based devices, solar generators, photovoltaic cells and modules, wind operated electricity generators, biogas plants and waste-to-energy devices from five per cent to twelve per cent with effect from 1 October 2021. Combined with the 70:30 deeming rule, this pushed up the delivered cost of rooftop and utility scale solar projects and prompted a wave of contract repricing and change-of-rate disputes under Section 14.
Practical effect: Projects straddling 1 October 2021 must fix the rate using the time-of-supply rules in Section 14, since invoice date, payment date and supply date can point to different rates.
