GST Notice Reply in Royapuram does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.2,999, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around East Madha Church Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Royapuram lives off the sea and the port: the Kasimedu fishing harbour drives seafood traders, processors and exporters, while Cochrane Basin Road and Thiruvottiyur High Road host logistics yards, cold storages and marine hardware suppliers. Seafood exporters here must keep the LUT under RFD-11 renewed every financial year and chase RFD-01 refunds within the two-year window, which is the area's biggest GST task. GST compliance in a market like Royapuram rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Notice Reply to businesses throughout Royapuram and nearby Tondiarpet and Old Washermanpet on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Royapuram compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Royapuram never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
East Madha Church Street is a residential street in Royapuram, about 600 m south of the centre of Royapuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Bazaar Street (about 200 m); B.C. Press Road (about 300 m); Andiappan Street (about 300 m); North Terminus Road (about 350 m) — so a site visit on East Madha Church Street can usually be combined with other work in Royapuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on East Madha Church Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Royapuram pincode is 600013.

Notification No. 47/2019-Central Tax dated 09.10.2019 · 2019-10-09
This notification made the filing of the annual return in FORM GSTR-9 optional for registered persons whose aggregate turnover in a financial year did not exceed Rs 2 crore, for the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19. It further provided that where such a person did not furnish the return before the due date, the annual return would be deemed to have been furnished on that date. The relief was later extended to subsequent years by separate notifications.
Practical effect: A small Chennai business that never filed GSTR-9 for FY 2017-18 or FY 2018-19 is not in default, because the return is deemed furnished.
26th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 10 March 2018 (PIB Release ID 1523715) · 2018-03-10
The liability to pay tax on reverse charge basis on supplies received from unregistered persons, already suspended at the 22nd meeting until 31 March 2018, was deferred further to 30 June 2018. A Group of Ministers was appointed to examine the modalities of implementation so that no inconvenience would be caused to trade and industry. The provision was ultimately never revived in its original form and was replaced by a narrower, notified-goods version at the 28th meeting.
What to do about it: Section 9(4) reverse charge on ordinary unregistered purchases never operated after 12 October 2017, which is a complete answer to demands raised on that footing for later periods.
Bajaj Finance Ltd — AAAR Maharashtra, orders dated 14 March 2019; see CBIC Circular No. 102/21/2019-GST dated 28 June 2019 and Circular No. 245/02/2025-GST dated 28 January 2025 · 2019-03-14
The Maharashtra appellate authority held that penal interest and cheque bounce charges collected by a finance company from borrowers who delayed instalments are consideration for tolerating an act and are liable to GST at 18 per cent. CBIC then clarified that additional interest charged for delayed payment under the loan agreement itself is part of exempt interest, while charges levied under a separate agreement are taxable, and a further 2025 circular clarified that penal charges levied by banks and non-banking finance companies for breach of loan terms are not taxable.
What it means for you: If you collect late payment penalties from customers, check whether the charge sits inside the main contract before deciding to levy GST on it.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
