The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Selaiyur permanently ahead of both, delivering New GST Registration from Rs.1,499 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Sundaram Smart city phase 1 — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Selaiyur spreads east of Tambaram around the Camp Road junction, with supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and two-wheeler showrooms along Velachery Main Road and Agaram Main Road, and rows of student hostels serving nearby colleges such as Madras Christian College. Hostel and paying-guest operators must apply GST correctly on accommodation once receipts cross Rs.20 lakh, while family-run retailers weigh the composition scheme against regular monthly filing. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with New GST Registration across Selaiyur for years, along with clients from Tambaram and Chitlapakkam. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Selaiyur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
Sundaram Smart city phase 1 is a local street in Selaiyur, about 450 m south-west of the centre of Selaiyur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — new road (about 100 m); IAF Road (about 400 m); Vedachalam Nagar Cross Street (about 400 m); New Balaji Nagar Main Road (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Sundaram Smart city phase 1 can usually be combined with other work in Selaiyur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Sundaram Smart city phase 1 falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Selaiyur pincode is 600073.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
K.P. Mozika v. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd — Supreme Court, Civil Appeal No. 3548 of 2017, judgment dated 09-01-2024 · 2024-01-09
The Supreme Court examined contracts for supplying cranes, tankers and vehicles to ONGC. It held that a transfer of the right to use goods requires the customer to obtain effective control and legal right to use the goods to the exclusion of the owner. Where the owner retains the operator, control and responsibility, the arrangement is a service contract and not a deemed sale. Sales tax or VAT was therefore not attracted; service tax was.
Practical effect: Chennai transport, crane and equipment hire businesses should draft contracts carefully, since who controls the asset decides whether GST applies as a supply of service or of goods.
GSTN Advisory dated 3 March 2025 — biometric Aadhaar authentication for promoters and directors at any GST Suvidha Kendra in their home State · 2025-03-03
Under the risk-based process in Rule 8(4A) of the CGST Rules, a registration applicant flagged by the system must attend a GST Suvidha Kendra for photograph capture, biometric Aadhaar authentication and verification of original documents. GSTN advised during 2025 that a promoter or director may complete this step at any GST Suvidha Kendra in his or her home State, while the primary authorised signatory must still be verified at a centre in the State in which registration is sought.
Why this matters: Where a Chennai company has directors living outside Tamil Nadu, book their biometric appointments early, as registration is not granted until every required person is verified.
Entry 12, Notification No. 12/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
As originally notified, Entry 12 exempted renting of a residential dwelling for use as residence, without any condition about who the tenant was. From 1 July 2017 to 17 July 2022 a house or flat let out for residential use carried no GST, whether the tenant was an individual, a firm or a company. The entry was narrowed with effect from 18 July 2022 so that the exemption no longer applies where the tenant is a registered person.
What it means for you: For rent periods up to 17 July 2022 a Chennai landlord had no GST liability on residential letting, which is a useful defence if an old notice questions those years.
