The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Sembium permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Notice Reply from Rs.2,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Chinna Kuzhandai Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Sembium straddles Paper Mills Road, Madhavaram High Road and Erukkancheri High Road, feeding the Perambur Carriage Works with fabrication shops, rubber and hosiery units, hardware and timber dealers. Bunder Garden Main Street, Melpatti Ponappa Street and Market Street hold provision wholesalers, sweet stalls and lorry booking agents, and the Carriage Works Road sheds house body builders. Transporters issuing consignment notes, reverse charge on freight and e-way bill expiry on Moolakadai bound loads are the standing pain points. When businesses of this kind evaluate GST Notice Reply, the real question is not price alone but who answers when something goes wrong. We serve Sembium, Perambur and Agaram on a standing commitment: responses within the same working day, senior scrutiny before every submission, and continued support if the department ever writes back on work carrying our preparation.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Sembium never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Sembium regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Sembium. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Chinna Kuzhandai Street is a residential street in Sembium, about 450 m east of the centre of Sembium. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Mukuntha Street (about 100 m); Kabilar Street (about 250 m); Ashokar Street (about 250 m); SSV Koil First Street (about 300 m) — so a site visit on Chinna Kuzhandai Street can usually be combined with other work in Sembium on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Chinna Kuzhandai Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sembium pincode is 600011.

Notification No. 20/2024-Central Tax · 2024-10-08
The CGST (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024 inserted Rule 164, effective 1 November 2024, prescribing Forms SPL-01 and SPL-02 for applying under the Section 128A scheme that waives interest and penalty on Section 73 demands of FY 2017-18 to 2019-20 once the tax is paid. The rules also inserted Rule 47A, requiring recipients liable under reverse charge to issue the self-invoice within thirty days of receiving supplies from unregistered persons.
What it means for you: Waiver applications under Section 128A are filed in SPL-01 or SPL-02 on the portal, and reverse-charge self-invoices now carry a strict thirty-day clock.
Penuel Nexus (P) Ltd v. Additional Commissioner, Headquarters (Appeals) — Kerala High Court, judgment dated 13 June 2023 · 2023-06-13
An appeal under Section 107 was filed after the three-month period and beyond the further one month that the appellate authority may condone. The Kerala High Court held that the CGST Act is a special statute providing its own complete limitation scheme, and the appellate authority has no power to condone delay beyond the additional one month. A writ petition could not be used to bypass that statutory bar. The rejection was upheld.
Why this matters: Treat the four-month outer limit for a GST appeal as real — the safer course is always to file within three months of receiving the order.
1st GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 22-23 September 2016 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2016-09-23
At its very first meeting the Council debated exemption thresholds ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh and finally agreed that a business would not need GST registration until its aggregate turnover crossed Rs 20 lakh. For the eleven Special Category States listed in Article 279A of the Constitution, the threshold was set at Rs 10 lakh. The Chairperson recorded that the figure would be reviewed after five years, once the compensation guarantee to States had run its course.
What it means for you: The Rs 20 lakh figure that still governs whether a small Chennai service business must register was settled at this meeting and has been the starting point for every later threshold change.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
