Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is completed on the portal from Rs.749 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Sembium have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Bharathi Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Sembium straddles Paper Mills Road, Madhavaram High Road and Erukkancheri High Road, feeding the Perambur Carriage Works with fabrication shops, rubber and hosiery units, hardware and timber dealers. Bunder Garden Main Street, Melpatti Ponappa Street and Market Street hold provision wholesalers, sweet stalls and lorry booking agents, and the Carriage Works Road sheds house body builders. Transporters issuing consignment notes, reverse charge on freight and e-way bill expiry on Moolakadai bound loads are the standing pain points. Against that backdrop, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Sembium demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Sembium, Perambur and Agaram, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Sembium business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Sembium business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Bharathi Road is a main connecting road in Sembium, about 1.2 km south-east of the centre of Sembium. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Vadivelu Mudali Street (about 250 m); Muniappan Street (about 300 m); Jeevanandam Street (about 500 m); Subramaniya Mudali Street (about 500 m) — so a site visit on Bharathi Road can usually be combined with other work in Sembium on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Bharathi Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sembium pincode is 600011.

Circular No. 98/17/2019-GST dated 23 April 2019 · 2019-04-23
Sections 49A and 49B, effective from 1 February 2019, required integrated tax credit to be exhausted before central or State tax credit could be used, which caused unnecessary cash payments. CBIC explained the effect of the newly inserted rule 88A: integrated tax credit must first be used against integrated tax liability, and the balance may then be applied against central tax and State tax liability in any order and in any proportion, before central and State credit is touched.
What it means for you: Correct set-off order can be the difference between paying cash and carrying credit, so the utilisation working should be checked every month.
Premier Sales Promotion (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Karnataka High Court, 2023 · 2023-01-16
A company procuring and supplying prepaid vouchers, gift cards and e-vouchers to corporate clients was held liable to GST by the AAR and AAAR. The Karnataka High Court reversed, holding that vouchers are in the nature of pre-deposit instruments or actionable claims — a means of payment for future supplies — and their mere trading is neither a supply of goods nor of services, so no GST is payable on the voucher itself. CBIC later clarified voucher taxation consistently with this position.
Why this matters: Businesses running gift card and reward programmes should tax the underlying redemption supply, not the voucher transaction, and review past assessments in light of this ruling.
17th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 18 June 2017 (PIB Release ID 1493128) · 2017-06-18
Responding to trade concerns about return readiness, the Council decided that for the first two months of GST, tax would be payable on a simple summary return, Form GSTR-3B, filed by the 20th of the following month. Invoice-wise details in GSTR-1 for July 2017 were to be filed between 1 and 5 September and for August between 16 and 20 September, with GSTR-2 auto-populated thereafter. This is the origin of the summary return that has governed monthly GST compliance ever since.
What it means for you: GSTR-3B was designed as a two-month stopgap and is still the return every Chennai business files monthly, which is why its legal status has been litigated repeatedly.
