Late fees, blocked credit and mismatch notices cost far more than professional help ever will. We complete GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing for Sowcarpet businesses from Rs.749, matching every figure against portal data before anything reaches the department.
We serve businesses on and around Erulappan Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Sowcarpet along Mint Street is Chennai's Marwari and Gujarati trading quarter, dense with jewellery showrooms, textile wholesalers, dry fruit and grocery merchants, and private financiers around Kasi Chetty Street and Elephant Gate. Rate-sensitive gold billing, HSN-wise reporting in GSTR-1 and the bar on composition dealers making interstate sales make careful scheme selection and classification the core GST issue here. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is available to Sowcarpet businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Mannady and Parrys (George Town) on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Sowcarpet never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
Erulappan Street is a residential street in Sowcarpet, about 600 m south-west of the centre of Sowcarpet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Ramanan Street (about 150 m); Ramanuja Street (about 150 m); Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road (about 150 m); Audiappa Naicken Street (about 200 m) — so a site visit on Erulappan Street can usually be combined with other work in Sowcarpet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Erulappan Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sowcarpet pincode is 600079.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Notification No. 12/2024-Central Tax · 2024-07-10
The CGST (Amendment) Rules, 2024 introduced Form GSTR-1A, letting taxpayers add or amend outward supply details of the same tax period after filing GSTR-1 but before filing GSTR-3B, so liability corrections flow into the same month's return. It also amended Rule 88B so that amounts lying in the electronic cash ledger on the due date, though debited later, do not attract interest, and reduced the invoice-wise B2C inter-State reporting threshold from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 1 lakh.
Why this matters: Use GSTR-1A to fix invoice errors before the 3B of the same month instead of carrying corrections forward, and do not concede interest demands where cash was already in the ledger.
29th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 4 August 2018 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2018-08-04
The Council approved a scheme to incentivise digital payment under GST. Concessions were to be given on B2C transactions paid through RuPay debit card, UPI, BHIM, USSD or BHIM-Aadhaar, by way of an automated refund to the consumer's account of twenty per cent of the total GST paid, subject to a ceiling of Rs 100 per transaction shared equally between CGST and SGST. The purchaser would be informed by SMS. The scheme was to run on a pilot basis in Assam, Tamil Nadu and any other volunteering State.
How we apply it: Tamil Nadu was one of only two States selected for this pilot, though the scheme was never rolled out in practice.
GSTN Advisories dated 12 April 2023 and 6 May 2023 — time limit for reporting invoices on the Invoice Registration Portal · 2023-04-12
GSTN announced that taxpayers with aggregate annual turnover of one hundred crore rupees or more would be unable to report an invoice on the Invoice Registration Portal more than seven days after the document date, with effect from 1 May 2023. After representations the implementation was deferred by three months. The idea returned later as a thirty day reporting limit applying to taxpayers with turnover of ten crore rupees and above.
Why this matters: Large Chennai taxpayers should generate the invoice reference number on the day of billing rather than leaving e-invoicing to month end.
