Our consultants provide GST Refund RFD-01 to businesses across T. Nagar starting at Rs.4,999. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around Sarojini Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
T. Nagar is South India's densest retail market, from silk showrooms on Usman Road to jewellery flagships around Panagal Park and garment stalls on Ranganathan Street. Turnover crosses the Rs.5 crore e-invoice threshold quickly here, and high-volume B2C billing produces chronic GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B gaps, branch stock-transfer questions and close scrutiny of jewellers' HSN-wise reporting. Years of working in and around T. Nagar have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GST Refund RFD-01 is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in West Mambalam and Nungambakkam, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in T. Nagar through each of these so month one starts correctly.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
Sarojini Street is a residential street in T. Nagar, about 550 m south of the centre of T. Nagar. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Mahalakshmi Street (about 150 m); South Usman Road (about 200 m); Ramanathan Street (about 300 m); vekatanarayana road (about 300 m) — so a site visit on Sarojini Street can usually be combined with other work in T. Nagar on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Sarojini Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the T. Nagar pincode is 600017.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board - AAR Tamil Nadu, advance ruling reported August 2021 · 2021
The Board, based at the DMS Campus in Teynampet, Chennai, owned immovable property and let portions of it to government departments and business entities. It asked whether it needed registration and whether the rent was exempt because the tenant was the government. The Authority held that renting of commercial property by the Board to a government or a business entity is not an exempt supply, so GST was payable on the rent collected.
What it means for you: Chennai landlords letting premises to government offices must charge GST unless a specific exemption entry clearly covers the letting.
Notification No. 37/2017-Central Tax dated 04.10.2017 · 2017-10-04
This notification extended the facility of furnishing a Letter of Undertaking in place of a bond to all registered persons who intend to supply goods or services for export without payment of integrated tax, subject to conditions. The main exclusion is a person who has been prosecuted for a tax evasion offence exceeding a prescribed amount. The LUT is valid for the financial year in which it is furnished and is filed on the common portal.
How we apply it: Every Chennai exporter can now file an annual LUT in FORM GST RFD-11 rather than arranging a bank guarantee, and it must be renewed at the start of each financial year.
M/s. Lodha Roadways v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 12595 of 2023, decided 24 April 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-04-24
A transporter sought release of detained goods. The Court dismissed the petition, holding that under Section 129 the entitlement to seek release of goods lies only with the owner, his agent or representative. The transporter's remedy is confined to release of the conveyance on payment of the penalty or one lakh rupees, whichever is less. Any claim about payment of tax on the consignment has to be pursued by the assessee who owns the goods, not by the carrier.
Why this matters: When a Chennai consignment is detained, the consignor or consignee must file the release application in its own name; letting the lorry operator do it will cost time.
