Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Teynampet deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Mariappan Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Teynampet's Anna Salai corridor houses corporate headquarters, media and advertising agencies, car dealerships and star hotels between Cenotaph Road and Cathedral Road. Multi-state companies here wrestle with ISD registration and cross-charge between branches, hotels handle rate slabs on rooms and banquets, and agencies routinely see GSTR-2B mismatches on high-volume vendor invoices that block input tax credit. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Teynampet every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing for businesses in Teynampet, and clients also reach us from Alwarpet and Nandanam nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Teynampet never writes back to you as a demand years later.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Teynampet, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Teynampet are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
Mariappan Street is a pedestrianised street in Teynampet, about 600 m south of the centre of Teynampet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Piliyar Koil Lane (about 50 m); Venkatarathinam Street (about 100 m); Elango Salai (about 100 m); 1st Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on Mariappan Street can usually be combined with other work in Teynampet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Mariappan Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Teynampet pincode is 600018.

Notification No. 20/2021-Central Tax, Notification No. 21/2021-Central Tax and Notification No. 22/2021-Central Tax · 2021-06-01
Three companion notifications rebuilt the late fee structure on a turnover basis from June 2021. For GSTR-1 the fee was capped at Rs 500 for nil statements, Rs 2,000 where turnover is up to Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 5,000 where turnover is between Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 5 crore, with the normal Rs 10,000 ceiling continuing above Rs 5 crore. For the composition annual return in GSTR-4, from the financial year 2021-22 onwards, the fee was capped at Rs 2,000 in total, being Rs 1,000 each under the central and State laws, and at Rs 500 in total where the return is nil. For the tax deduction return in GSTR-7 the fee was reduced to Rs 50 per day subject to a ceiling of Rs 2,000.
What it means for you: Small Chennai taxpayers can no longer face runaway late fee running into lakhs, because every return type now carries an absolute ceiling.
Circular No. 243/37/2024-GST · 2024-12-31
CBIC clarified that transactions in vouchers are neither a supply of goods nor of services. Where a voucher is dealt with on a principal-to-principal basis, no GST arises on its sale or distribution. Where a distributor acts as an agent for a commission, GST applies on that commission. Additional services such as marketing, customisation and technology support are taxable at eighteen per cent, and unredeemed vouchers, or breakage, do not attract GST as no supply takes place.
What it means for you: Retailers and platforms issuing gift vouchers should charge GST only on the underlying goods at redemption and on any commission earned, not on the voucher sale itself.
Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise v. Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd — Supreme Court, order dated 17-03-2023 dismissing the department's appeal against the CESTAT order · 2023-03-17
The Supreme Court dismissed the department's appeal and confirmed that where a holding company issues a corporate guarantee for its group companies without charging any consideration, no service tax is leviable. A taxable service requires consideration, and where none flows, the charge fails. Under GST the position has since been altered by a specific valuation rule for corporate guarantees between related persons, so the current position must be checked separately.
What it means for you: Chennai group companies giving guarantees to each other should review the current GST valuation rule, since the earlier no-consideration argument no longer holds under GST.
