Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GST Refund RFD-01 in Uthandi deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.4,999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Ranganathan Avenue — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Uthandi occupies the East Coast Road stretch around the ECR Toll Plaza and the V.G.P. Gandhi Nagar layouts, where beach resorts, farmhouses, banquet lawns, seafood restaurants and boutique studios trade off the V.G.P. Main Roads, Reddykuppam Main Road and V.V. Venkata Subramanian Salai. Operators here routinely misapply accommodation rate slabs by tariff and treat outdoor catering at farmhouse weddings as restaurant supply, inviting rate and input-credit disputes on audit. Years of working in and around Uthandi have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GST Refund RFD-01 is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Panaiyur and Kanathur, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Uthandi are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Uthandi compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Uthandi would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Ranganathan Avenue is a residential street in Uthandi, about 500 m south of the centre of Uthandi. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — V.G.P. Gandhi 3rd Main Road (about 100 m); V.G.P. Gandhi 1st Main Road (about 100 m); V.G.P. Gandhi 2nd Main Road (about 250 m); V.G.P 3rd Main Road (about 450 m) — so a site visit on Ranganathan Avenue can usually be combined with other work in Uthandi on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Ranganathan Avenue falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Uthandi pincode is 600119.

Circular No. 40/14/2018-GST dated 6 April 2018 · 2018-04-06
In partial modification of Circular 8/8/2017, CBIC clarified that a Letter of Undertaking filed online in FORM GST RFD-11 is deemed accepted as soon as the application reference number is generated on the portal. No document needs to be physically submitted to the jurisdictional office, and no separate acceptance letter is required. If it is later found that the exporter was ineligible, the LUT is treated as having been rejected from the beginning.
How we apply it: Exporters need not chase the range office for an LUT acceptance letter; the ARN printout from the portal is sufficient proof.
Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicles Ltd — AAAR Karnataka, order dated 6 February 2020 (appeal from AAR Karnataka, Advance Ruling No. KAR ADRG 32/2019, dated 12 September 2019) · 2020-02-06
The company repaired Volvo vehicles in India during the warranty period and recovered the cost from Volvo Sweden, which owned the warranty obligation. The Karnataka Appellate Authority for Advance Ruling held that the service is rendered to the foreign manufacturer and not to the Indian vehicle owner. Since the recipient is outside India and payment is received in convertible foreign exchange, the transaction qualifies as export of service and is zero-rated.
Why this matters: Where a foreign principal owns the warranty obligation and pays you for honouring it, the recovery can be defended as an export of service.
Union of India v. Mohit Minerals (P) Ltd — Supreme Court, 2022 · 2022-05-19
The Supreme Court held that levying IGST on ocean freight under reverse charge from the Indian importer, when the importer already pays IGST on the CIF value of imported goods, amounts to double taxation and is unconstitutional. The Court also made the landmark observation that GST Council recommendations are not binding on the Union or the States, and Parliament and State legislatures have simultaneous power to legislate on GST.
Practical effect: Importers in Chennai who paid IGST on ocean freight under reverse charge for CIF imports can rely on this ruling to resist demands and pursue refunds where limitation permits.
