Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GST Refund RFD-01 in Vengaivasal deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.4,999, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around TNHB Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Vengaivasal looking for GST Refund RFD-01 want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Vengaivasal, on the Santhosapuram - Vengaivasal - Mambakkam Road beside Madambakkam Road, is a former panchayat now filled with plotted layouts, building-material yards, borewell and earthmoving contractors, brick and ready-mix suppliers and neighbourhood retail around Sudarshan Nagar. Civil contractors billing local bodies here misapply the revised works-contract rates and overlook tax deduction under Section 51 on government and panchayat contracts. We serve this belt — including Sithalapakkam and Medavakkam — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Vengaivasal often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Vengaivasal would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, (2006) 3 SCC 1, judgment dated 02-03-2006 · 2006-03-02
The Supreme Court held that the same transaction may have a goods aspect and a service aspect, and different legislatures may tax different aspects, but the same element cannot be taxed twice. A composite contract cannot be split into goods and services except in the cases specifically permitted by Article 366(29A), such as works contracts and catering. The dominant nature test was applied to decide the character of the contract.
Why this matters: Chennai businesses with bundled offerings should determine the dominant character of the supply, since that decides classification and rate under GST.
Circular No. 188/20/2022-GST · 2022-12-27
Where an unregistered person has borne GST on a flat booking or a long term insurance policy that is later cancelled, and the supplier can no longer issue a credit note because the time limit under Section 34 has expired, the buyer may claim the refund directly. The circular prescribes obtaining a temporary registration on the common portal using PAN, and filing FORM GST RFD-01 under the prescribed category with the cancellation document and proof of payment, subject to the minimum refund threshold.
What it means for you: A Chennai homebuyer whose builder agreement is cancelled after the credit note window has closed can still recover the GST directly from the department through a temporary registration.
Notification No. 10/2017-Central Tax dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28

These cover matters such as determination of value of supply, input tax credit, tax invoice, credit and debit notes, accounts and records, returns, payment of tax, refunds and assessment, together with their prescribed forms.
How we apply it: The rules governing invoicing, credit and refunds for a Chennai business date from 28 June 2017, so any compliance question about the first weeks of GST must be tested against this text.
