Agaram is a tight grid of workshops and homes between Peravallur and Sembium, with tailoring and hosiery units, footwear stitchers, cycle and two wheeler mechanics and small foundries along Loco Works Road and Kumaran Nagar Main Road. Market Street, Temple Road and the Paper Mills Road frontage carry grocery and rice wholesalers serving the Perambur belt, while Jaganathan Colony and Bharathi Nagar hold rented workshop sheds. Composition scheme limits, unregistered job work movements and cash sale invoicing gaps drive most notices received here. GST compliance in a market like Agaram rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Refund RFD-01 to businesses throughout Agaram and nearby Peravallur and Sembium on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Agaram often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Agaram business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Agaram, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Agaram are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Agaram are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, (2006) 3 SCC 1, judgment dated 02-03-2006 · 2006-03-02
The Supreme Court held that the same transaction may have a goods aspect and a service aspect, and different legislatures may tax different aspects, but the same element cannot be taxed twice. A composite contract cannot be split into goods and services except in the cases specifically permitted by Article 366(29A), such as works contracts and catering. The dominant nature test was applied to decide the character of the contract.
Practical effect: Chennai businesses with bundled offerings should determine the dominant character of the supply, since that decides classification and rate under GST.
Circular No. 197/09/2023-GST · 2023-07-17
CBIC clarified several refund issues: the value of export goods, for both 'turnover of zero-rated supply of goods' and 'adjusted total turnover' under Rule 89(4), is the lower of the FOB value declared in the shipping bill and the value declared in the tax invoice; the scope of the undertaking required in Form RFD-01 in relation to Section 16(2)(c) was explained; refund of accumulated credit is admissible even where the credit pertains to invoices of an earlier period but was availed in the refund period; and the manner of computing refunds where GSTR-2B based restrictions apply was set out.
Practical effect: Exporters should compute refund claims using the lower of FOB and invoice value and cite this circular when officers seek unwarranted undertakings or reject earlier-period credit.
Notification No. 3/2025-Compensation Cess (Rate), dated 31 December 2025 · 2025-12-31
Issued with the tobacco rate notification, this reduces the compensation cess rate to nil on pan masala, tobacco and the related products that had continued to bear cess after September 2025, with effect from 1 February 2026. Since the goods simultaneously moved to the forty per cent GST rate, the combined burden is broadly preserved while the cess itself is retired, bringing the compensation cess levy introduced in July 2017 to an end for practical purposes.
What to do about it: From 1 February 2026 no compensation cess is charged on any goods, so cess columns in invoices, returns and accounting software should be closed out.
