Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GST Notice Reply is completed on the portal from Rs.2,999 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Broadway have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Ekambareswara Agraharam Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Broadway, running along Prakasam Salai from the High Court to the bus terminus, is a dense wholesale strip for footwear, luggage, umbrellas and general merchandise, with parcel offices and transport operators clustered around the terminus and Walltax Road. Traders here depend heavily on lorry freight, so reverse charge on goods transport agency bills and e-way bill coverage are constant compliance points. That is why our GST Notice Reply engagements in Broadway follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Parrys (George Town) and Mannady run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Broadway. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Broadway business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
Ekambareswara Agraharam Street is a residential street in Broadway, about 750 m west of the centre of Broadway. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Akkon Das Street (about 150 m); Ayya Pillai Street (about 250 m); Devaraju Mudali Street (about 300 m); Rattan Bazaar Road (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Ekambareswara Agraharam Street can usually be combined with other work in Broadway on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Ekambareswara Agraharam Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Broadway pincode is 600108.

GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Circular No. 128/47/2019-GST dated 23 December 2019 · 2019-12-23
Building on Circular No. 122/41/2019-GST, CBIC directed that from 24 December 2019 a computer-generated Document Identification Number must be quoted on all communications issued by its officers to taxpayers, including search authorisations, summons, arrest memos, inspection notices, letters and emails. Any communication issued without a DIN, outside the narrow exceptions listed, is to be treated as invalid and deemed never to have been issued.
What to do about it: Check the DIN on any notice, summons or letter you receive, and verify it on the CBIC portal, because a communication without one has no legal effect.
45th GST Council Meeting, Lucknow — 17 September 2021 · 2021-09-17
The Council decided that the rate changes needed to correct the inverted duty structure in the footwear and textiles sectors, discussed and deferred at an earlier meeting, would be implemented with effect from 1 January 2022. The correction involved moving fabrics, garments and footwear below the earlier value thresholds from 5 per cent up to 12 per cent so that output tax would exceed input tax and refund claims would cease. The Council also set up Groups of Ministers on rate rationalisation and on using technology to improve compliance.
Practical effect: Tamil Nadu's textile and footwear clusters faced a five to twelve per cent increase from January 2022, a decision the Council reversed for textiles on 31 December 2021, the eve of implementation.
M/s. Century Apparels (P) Ltd v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 3748 of 2025, decided 22 October 2025 (G.R. Swaminathan J.) · 2025-10-22
Garments moving from Tirupur to Tuticorin for export were detained because the e-way bill showed Chennai as the place of dispatch, and a penalty equal to 200 per cent of tax was levied under Section 129(1)(a). The Court quashed the penalty, holding that the goods were in fact covered by documents, that the error was typographical and easily correctable, that Section 126 forbids penalty for such minor breaches absent fraudulent intent, and that leaving the reply column blank breached Section 129(4).
How we apply it: A Tamil Nadu exporter penalised for a clerical mistake in the e-way bill, with no allegation of evasion, has a strong case for refund of the penalty paid under protest.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
