Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Chitlapakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Kamarajapuram — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Chitlapakkam looking for GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Chitlapakkam is a dense middle-class suburb wrapped around Chitlapakkam Lake between Chromepet and Selaiyur, its Main Road lined with provision stores, bakeries, pharmacies, tuition centres and small boutiques. Most traders here operate close to the Rs.40 lakh goods registration threshold, so registration timing, quarterly filing under the QRMP scheme and CMP-08 payment discipline for composition dealers dominate GST consultations in this locality. We serve this belt — including Chromepet and Selaiyur — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Quarterly filing still demands monthly attention — IFF uploads so your buyers see their credit on time, and tax payment through PMT-06 by the 25th for the first two months of each quarter. We run that monthly rhythm so QRMP saves you effort without creating gaps.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Chitlapakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Chitlapakkam always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Chitlapakkam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
36th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 27 July 2019 · 2019-07-27
The Council reduced GST on all electric vehicles from 12 per cent to 5 per cent and on chargers or charging stations for electric vehicles from 18 per cent to 5 per cent. Hiring of electric buses with carrying capacity of more than twelve passengers by local authorities was exempted. All these changes took effect from 1 August 2019. The Council also extended the last date for opting into the six per cent service composition scheme in CMP-02 to 30 September 2019.
Practical effect: Electric vehicle dealers and charging point operators in Chennai bill at five per cent, a rate that has survived every later rate revision including GST 2.0.
M/s. New PSP Traders v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court (Madurai Bench), W.P.(MD) No. 17026 of 2025, decided 25 June 2025 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2025-06-25
The assessment orders had denied input tax credit purely because the returns were filed after the Section 16(4) cut-off. The Court held that the challenge was squarely covered by newly inserted Section 16(5), which permits credit on invoices relating to the financial years 2017-18 to 2020-21 if taken in any return filed up to 30 November 2021, notwithstanding Section 16(4). The impugned orders were quashed and the matter remitted for fresh orders consistent with the amendment.
What to do about it: A Chennai dealer whose ITC for 2017-18 to 2020-21 was disallowed only for late filing should apply for rectification or move the High Court, since Section 16(5) now protects that credit.
Notification No. 10/2021-Central Tax and Notification No. 25/2021-Central Tax · 2021-06-01
The annual return in Form GSTR-4 for the financial year 2020-21, originally due on 30 April 2021, was first extended to 31 May 2021 by the notification of 1 May 2021 and then further extended to 31 July 2021 by the notification of 1 June 2021. Composition taxpayers had been badly affected by the second wave and by the fact that GSTR-4 had only recently changed from a quarterly to an annual return, causing widespread confusion about the filing period.
Practical effect: Chennai composition dealers had until 31 July 2021 for the 2020-21 annual return, which is the date from which any late fee for that year is correctly computed.
