The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Chromepet permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Refund RFD-01 from Rs.4,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Hanumar Koil Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Chromepet grew around the old Chrome Leather Company and now centres on the MIT campus, hospitals, private hostels and dense retail along GST Road and Radha Nagar. Hostels and coaching centres frequently misjudge GST applicability on accommodation and fees, and GST Road retailers see recurring GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B turnover mismatches that invite ASMT-10 notices requiring an ASMT-11 reply within 30 days. GST compliance in a market like Chromepet rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Refund RFD-01 to businesses throughout Chromepet and nearby Pallavaram and Tambaram on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Chromepet never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Chromepet through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Hanumar Koil Street is a main connecting road in Chromepet, about 150 m south-west of the centre of Chromepet. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Krishnamachari Street (about 150 m); Station Road (about 200 m); PTC Workshop Street (about 200 m); Shanti Nagar 2nd Cross Street (about 300 m) — so a site visit on Hanumar Koil Street can usually be combined with other work in Chromepet on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Hanumar Koil Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Chromepet pincode is 600044.

Notification No. 6/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 13 July 2022 · 2022-07-13
Acting on the 47th GST Council recommendation, this notification rewrote the goods schedule so that curd, lassi, buttermilk, paneer, honey, cereals, pulses, flour, jaggery, puffed rice and similar staples attract five per cent when they are pre-packaged and labelled. The earlier test of whether the goods carried a registered brand name was abandoned, because it had been widely defeated by suppliers voluntarily forgoing brand registration. The change took effect from 18 July 2022.
How we apply it: From July 2022 a Chennai rice or flour dealer selling in labelled retail packs charges five per cent even if the pack carries no registered brand.
34th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 19 March 2019 · 2019-03-19
The Council gave promoters a one-time option to continue paying tax at the old effective rates of eight or twelve per cent with input tax credit on ongoing projects, meaning buildings where both construction and actual booking had started before 1 April 2019 and which were not completed by 31 March 2019. The option had to be exercised once within a prescribed time frame, failing which the new rates applied automatically. Credit for projects moving across was to be transitioned pro rata.
How we apply it: Chennai builders who did not formally exercise the option in 2019 are on the one and five per cent no-credit rates, and any credit claimed since then is exposed to reversal.
M/s. Ajay Agency v. State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 8507 of 2023, decided 30 March 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-03-30
A consignment of power weeders was intercepted on 6 March 2023 at about 10.30 a.m., the e-way bill having expired at 11.59 p.m. the previous night. The taxpayer pleaded a vehicle breakdown. The Court declined to interfere, noting that the validity could have been extended within the permitted window and had not been, and that the officer's decision to detain and penalise under Section 129(1) was not unreasonable. The writ petition was dismissed with liberty to file a statutory appeal.
Why this matters: Chennai transporters must extend e-way bill validity within the permitted window when a vehicle breaks down; the High Court will not excuse an expired bill merely because of a breakdown.
