If you operate in ICF Colony, GST deadlines arrive with the same force as anywhere in Chennai — GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th. ICF Colony grew around the Integral Coach Factory, and its economy stays railway facing: precision machine shops, sheet metal fabricators, electrical and painting contractors, uniform tailors and canteen contractors supplying the Shell and Furnishing divisions through Constable Road and Portious Road. Konnur High Road and New Avadi Road add provision stores and hardware, while Welcome Colony and the Officers Colony lanes house staff quarters and rented shops. Vendors here contend with Section 51 TDS deductions, works contract classification and GSTR-2B mismatches on railway purchase orders. We provide New GST Registration to businesses across ICF Colony and the adjoining Villivakkam and Ayanavaram localities, maintaining a compliance calendar for every client so due dates are met without last-minute panic, late fees or interest at 18 percent per annum.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in ICF Colony always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in ICF Colony never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in ICF Colony through each of these so month one starts correctly.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
12th Street is a residential street in ICF Colony, about 1.1 km south of the centre of ICF Colony. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 11th Street (about 0 m); 10th Street (about 100 m); 13th Street (about 100 m); 14th Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on 12th Street can usually be combined with other work in ICF Colony on the same trip. Notification No. 14/2021-Central Tax (Rate), dated 18 November 2021 · 2021-11-18
To cure the inverted duty structure in which fabric makers paid more tax on yarn and dyes than they collected on cloth, the Government notified an increase from five per cent to twelve per cent across man-made fibre, yarn, fabrics, garments and made-ups, and removed the value-based split on footwear so that all footwear would attract twelve per cent. The change was to take effect from 1 January 2022 and triggered strong protests from the textile trade, including in Tiruppur, Erode and Coimbatore.
What it means for you: This notification is the origin of the textile rate fight, and its history matters when defending classification and rate positions for supplies made around that period.
Munjaal Manishbhai Bhatt v. Union of India — Gujarat High Court, 2022 · 2022-05-06
In a bungalow purchase where land constituted the dominant value, the Gujarat High Court held that the deeming fiction treating land value as one-third of the total consideration for GST on construction is arbitrary if applied mandatorily. Where the actual value of land is ascertainable from the agreement, tax must be computed after deducting the real land value; the one-third deduction in the rate notification was read down as optional, available at the taxpayer's choice.
Why this matters: Builders and buyers with separately valued land agreements can compute GST on actual construction value — worth revisiting for plotted developments and villa projects around Chennai.
45th GST Council Meeting, Lucknow — 17 September 2021 · 2021-09-17
The Council decided that the rate changes needed to correct the inverted duty structure in the footwear and textiles sectors, discussed and deferred at an earlier meeting, would be implemented with effect from 1 January 2022. The correction involved moving fabrics, garments and footwear below the earlier value thresholds from 5 per cent up to 12 per cent so that output tax would exceed input tax and refund claims would cease. The Council also set up Groups of Ministers on rate rationalisation and on using technology to improve compliance.
How we apply it: Tamil Nadu's textile and footwear clusters faced a five to twelve per cent increase from January 2022, a decision the Council reversed for textiles on 31 December 2021, the eve of implementation.
