Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, ITC Reconciliation 2B vs Books in Puzhuthivakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.1,499, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.

Puzhuthivakkam's commerce runs along Bazaar Road and Bazaar Main Road off Sabari Salai, where provision wholesalers, bakeries, silk shops and clinics serve the Union Carbide Colony, Hindu Colony and Vijayanagar blocks and the crowd around the Puzhuthivakkam Bus Stand. Traders stocking loose grains and pulses alongside pre-packaged and labelled goods repeatedly get the five per cent pre-packaged levy and the Rule 42 credit reversal on exempt turnover wrong. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides ITC Reconciliation 2B vs Books to clients across Puzhuthivakkam and neighbouring Ullagaram and Madipakkam, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Puzhuthivakkam, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Puzhuthivakkam business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Puzhuthivakkam business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Each month we take your purchase register in any format and download the auto-drafted GSTR-2B for the same period from the portal.
Every invoice is matched on GSTIN, invoice number, date and tax amount, with tolerance logic that catches rounding and date-shift cases without false mismatches.
Unmatched items are classified as supplier not filed, wrong GSTIN quoted, value differences or duplicates, so each category gets the correct corrective action.
We prepare a defaulter list with amounts at stake and ready-to-send follow-up messages, helping you recover credit before it lapses at the November deadline.
A final eligible ITC statement with reversals under Rules 37, 42 and 43 considered is delivered before the 20th, ready for direct use in GSTR-3B.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Monthly, completed before GSTR-3B filing on the 20th · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.14,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |

GSTN Advisory dated 14 November 2023 — input tax credit reversal under Rule 37A of the CGST Rules for FY 2022-23 · 2023-11-14
Rule 37A requires a buyer to reverse input tax credit where the supplier reported the invoice in GSTR-1 but did not file the GSTR-3B for that tax period by 30 September following the end of the financial year. The reversal must be made in the GSTR-3B filed on or before 30 November. GSTN made supplier-wise details of such invoices available on the portal and advised taxpayers to complete the reversal for FY 2022-23 by 30 November 2023. The credit can be reclaimed once the supplier files the pending return.
How we apply it: Run a supplier compliance check every October, because credit from a defaulting supplier must be reversed by 30 November or carries interest.
Entry 2, Notification No. 13/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 28.06.2017 · 2017-06-28
Services supplied by an individual advocate including a senior advocate, or by a firm of advocates, by way of legal services to a business entity located in the taxable territory are taxed in the hands of the recipient. The advocate does not charge GST on the bill; the client pays it directly to the Government and takes credit if otherwise eligible. Small business entities below the registration threshold are excluded by a separate exemption entry, so the liability effectively attaches to registered businesses.
Practical effect: A registered Chennai business paying an advocate's fee must record the bill and pay GST under reverse charge in that month's GSTR-3B, even though the advocate's bill carries no tax.
9th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 16 January 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 5) · 2017-01-16
With the revised model law still to be brought back to the Council, the fitment of rates incomplete and taxpayers needing time to configure their accounting systems, the Council unanimously agreed to extend the GST rollout date to 1 July 2017. Maharashtra, Assam and Bihar had pressed for 1 April 2017, Assam adding that changing the tax regime in the middle of a financial year was undesirable, but the Chairperson observed that the legal and rate work would spill into March 2017 and that an April deadline had become a major challenge. Tamil Nadu and Karnataka supported 1 July 2017 as the more practical date.
How we apply it: GST law in India runs from 1 July 2017, so the first return periods, the first annual return and all transitional credit deadlines are measured from that date.
