Uthandi occupies the East Coast Road stretch around the ECR Toll Plaza and the V.G.P. Gandhi Nagar layouts, where beach resorts, farmhouses, banquet lawns, seafood restaurants and boutique studios trade off the V.G.P. Main Roads, Reddykuppam Main Road and V.V. Venkata Subramanian Salai. Operators here routinely misapply accommodation rate slabs by tariff and treat outdoor catering at farmhouse weddings as restaurant supply, inviting rate and input-credit disputes on audit. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of ITC Reconciliation 2B vs Books is available to Uthandi businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Panaiyur and Kanathur on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Uthandi are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Uthandi through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Uthandi compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
Each month we take your purchase register in any format and download the auto-drafted GSTR-2B for the same period from the portal.
Every invoice is matched on GSTIN, invoice number, date and tax amount, with tolerance logic that catches rounding and date-shift cases without false mismatches.
Unmatched items are classified as supplier not filed, wrong GSTIN quoted, value differences or duplicates, so each category gets the correct corrective action.
We prepare a defaulter list with amounts at stake and ready-to-send follow-up messages, helping you recover credit before it lapses at the November deadline.
A final eligible ITC statement with reversals under Rules 37, 42 and 43 considered is delivered before the 20th, ready for direct use in GSTR-3B.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Monthly, completed before GSTR-3B filing on the 20th · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
GSTN Advisories, 2023 — e-invoice master information portal at einvoice.gst.gov.in and the e-Invoice QR Code Verifier App · 2023
GSTN launched a single e-invoice information portal at einvoice.gst.gov.in that lists all Invoice Registration Portals, allows anyone to check whether a given GSTIN is enabled for e-invoicing, and hosts advisories and frequently asked questions. GSTN also released a free e-Invoice QR Code Verifier mobile application, which scans the QR code printed on an invoice and displays the details recorded against the invoice reference number, so a buyer can confirm that the document is genuine.
What to do about it: Verify the QR code and the supplier's e-invoice enablement before accepting a large invoice from a new vendor, since a fake e-invoice puts your credit at risk.
Notification No. 4/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 16 January 2025 (G.S.R. 59(E)) · 2025-01-16
The 55th GST Council recommended a single rate for the second-hand vehicle trade, and this notification raised the concessional rate on old and used motor vehicles, including electric vehicles, from twelve per cent to eighteen per cent. The tax continues to be charged only on the supplier's margin, and the levy still applies only where the seller is registered and is dealing in such vehicles; a sale by one individual to another remains outside GST altogether.
Practical effect: Used-car dealerships in Chennai charge eighteen per cent on the margin from 16 January 2025, while private person-to-person sales attract no GST.
Union of India v. Cosmo Films Ltd — Supreme Court, judgment dated 28-04-2023 · 2023-04-28
The Supreme Court set aside the Gujarat High Court and upheld the validity of the pre-import condition attached to the IGST and compensation cess exemption on imports under advance authorisation. Exporters who did not satisfy the condition had to pay the IGST. However, the Court directed that a facility be provided to enable such exporters to claim input tax credit or refund of the IGST so paid, so that no genuine exporter suffers a permanent loss.
What it means for you: Chennai exporters using advance authorisations must comply strictly with scheme conditions and, where duty has been paid, follow up on credit or refund entitlement.
