The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Madambakkam permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Notice Reply from Rs.2,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around LDS Avenue Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Madambakkam, built around the Chola-era Dhenupureeswarar Temple and Madambakkam Lake, has turned from farmland into a plotted-layout suburb threaded by Madambakkam High Road and the Santhosapuram - Vengaivasal - Mambakkam Road. Works contractors, borewell operators, building material suppliers and layout promoters dominate. Works contract classification, the twelve versus eighteen per cent dispute and Section 17(5) credit blocks are the recurring GST battles here. GST compliance in a market like Madambakkam rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Notice Reply to businesses throughout Madambakkam and nearby Rajakilpakkam and Selaiyur on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Madambakkam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
LDS Avenue Main Road is a residential street in Madambakkam, about 1.2 km south of the centre of Madambakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Ambal Nagar 1st Street (about 450 m); Annai Theresa Street (about 750 m); 4th Street (about 1.0 km); 3rd Cross Street (about 1.1 km) — so a site visit on LDS Avenue Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Madambakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on LDS Avenue Main Road falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Madambakkam pincode is 600126.

Sections 107(6) and 112(8), CGST Act, 2017, as amended by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2024, effective 1 November 2024 vide Notification No. 17/2024-Central Tax · 2024-11-01
The maximum pre-deposit for a first appeal under Section 107 was reduced from Rs 25 crore to Rs 20 crore each of CGST and SGST, the rate remaining ten per cent of the disputed tax. For appeals to the GST Appellate Tribunal, the pre-deposit was reduced from twenty per cent to ten per cent of the disputed tax, subject to a ceiling of Rs 20 crore each of CGST and SGST, in addition to the amount already deposited at the first appellate stage.
What to do about it: A second appeal to the Tribunal now costs ten per cent rather than twenty per cent of the disputed tax, making it far more affordable to carry a bad order forward.
Tamil Nadu Water Investment Company Ltd - AAR Tamil Nadu, advance ruling reported at 2019 (2) TMI 187 · 2019
The Chennai company provided management consultancy and detailed project report services to the Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board for water related projects. It asked whether the service attracted GST. The Authority held that the supply was a pure service with no supply of goods involved, rendered in relation to a function entrusted to a municipality, and was therefore exempt from GST under the entry covering pure services supplied to government and local authorities.
How we apply it: Chennai consultants on government water and civic projects should test the pure services exemption before adding GST to their invoices.
Chandrapur Magnet Wires (P) Ltd v. Collector of Central Excise, Nagpur — Supreme Court, (1996) 2 SCC 159, judgment dated 12-12-1995 · 1995-12-12
The Supreme Court held that where a manufacturer reverses credit taken on inputs used in exempted goods, the position is as though no credit was ever taken. The exemption benefit therefore cannot be denied. Maintaining separate accounts is one method of compliance, but a debit entry reversing the credit achieves the same result. Substance rather than the form of book entries governs the outcome.
Why this matters: A Chennai business making both taxable and exempt supplies can protect its position by reversing the proportionate credit properly and documenting the reversal.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
