Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Minjur deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Car Street (Theradi Street) — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Minjur is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Minjur is a logistics town on the Thiruvottriyur-Ponneri-Panchetty Road where the Outer Ring Road lands, ringed by container freight stations, timber cutting yards, blue-metal depots and the Minjur seawater desalination plant, with Ennore port and Kattupalli traffic running through it. Freight forwarders here wrestle with place of supply on transport services, while timber and quarry traders face e-way bill checks on the Karanodai-Minjur Road. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Minjur, Ponneri and Athipattu have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Minjur through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Minjur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |

32nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 10 January 2019 · 2019-01-10
The Council created two threshold limits for exemption from registration and payment of GST for suppliers of goods, Rs 40 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, and gave states a week to choose which limit would apply in their territory. The threshold for service providers was left unchanged at Rs 20 lakh, and at Rs 10 lakh for special category states. The change was made operational from 1 April 2019 and remains the basic registration test for traders and manufacturers today.
Practical effect: A Chennai trader dealing only in goods crosses the registration line at Rs 40 lakh of aggregate turnover, but a service provider must register at Rs 20 lakh.
Eicher Motors Ltd v. Superintendent of GST and Central Excise — Madras High Court, 2024 · 2024-01-23
Eicher Motors had deposited tax amounts into its electronic cash ledger before the due dates but filed GSTR-3B belatedly owing to transitional credit issues, and the department demanded interest under Section 50. The Madras High Court held that once the amount is credited to the Government via the electronic cash ledger by the due date, the tax liability stands discharged to that extent, and no interest is leviable merely because the return was filed late. This reasoning has since been followed by other High Courts.
How we apply it: If cash was parked in your electronic cash ledger before the due date, contest any interest demand for delayed GSTR-3B filing on that amount.
Circular No. 245/02/2025-GST · 2025-01-28
Implementing 55th GST Council decisions, CBIC clarified that penal charges levied by banks and NBFCs for breach of loan terms, which replaced penal interest per RBI directions, are not consideration for any service and attract no GST. It also clarified that RBI-regulated payment aggregators are covered by the exemption for settlement of transactions up to Rs 2,000, and addressed other service-tax positions, regularising past periods on an as-is basis.
Why this matters: Borrowers should not accept GST charged on penal charges by lenders, and merchants using payment aggregators get relief on small-ticket settlement charges.
