Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Moulivakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Roja Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Moulivakkam spreads west from the Chennai Bypass along Kodambakkam-Sriperumbudur Road into the Maxworth Nagar, Madha Nagar, MRK Nagar and Janakiram Nagar layouts, where the river-named streets off Ponniamman Koil Salai were plotted out of farmland. Promoters, ready-mix and steel suppliers, borewell and electrical contractors, provision stores and hospital-facing pharmacies operate here. Affordable-housing rate disputes, works-contract billing, e-way bills on sand and steel movement and first-time registrations for new shops keep compliance busy. Against that backdrop, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Moulivakkam demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Moulivakkam, Mugalivakkam and Gerugambakkam, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Moulivakkam always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Moulivakkam business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Moulivakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
The 11th and the 20th stop being days of dread. You approve a prepared draft, we file, and the acknowledgement lands on your WhatsApp — month after month, without drama.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise v. Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd — Supreme Court, order dated 17-03-2023 dismissing the department's appeal against the CESTAT order · 2023-03-17
The Supreme Court dismissed the department's appeal and confirmed that where a holding company issues a corporate guarantee for its group companies without charging any consideration, no service tax is leviable. A taxable service requires consideration, and where none flows, the charge fails. Under GST the position has since been altered by a specific valuation rule for corporate guarantees between related persons, so the current position must be checked separately.
How we apply it: Chennai group companies giving guarantees to each other should review the current GST valuation rule, since the earlier no-consideration argument no longer holds under GST.
Circular No. 167/23/2021-GST dated 17 December 2021 · 2021-12-17
Following the 45th GST Council meeting, restaurant service supplied through an e-commerce operator was notified under section 9(5) with effect from 1 January 2022. CBIC clarified that the operator, and not the restaurant, is liable to pay the tax on such supplies, must discharge it in cash without using input tax credit, and issues the invoice for the service. The restaurant continues to pay tax on its own dine-in and direct sales, and the aggregate turnover of the restaurant still includes the supplies made through the platform.
How we apply it: Chennai restaurants listed on delivery platforms must separate platform sales from direct sales in their records, because the tax on the former is paid by the platform.
23rd GST Council Meeting, Guwahati — 10 November 2017 (PIB Release ID 1509037) · 2017-11-10
The Council recommended reducing the GST rate from 28 to 18 per cent on goods falling in 178 headings at the four-digit level, including four headings only partially pruned, so that the 28 per cent list fell from 224 tariff headings to only about 50. Further reductions were recommended from 28 to 12 per cent, from 18 to 12 per cent and from 18 to 5 per cent on specified goods, together with relief for the aviation and handicraft sectors and restaurants.
What to do about it: This is the single largest rate rationalisation of the early GST years and reset the price and credit position for most Chennai consumer goods dealers overnight.
