Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GST Refund RFD-01 is completed on the portal from Rs.4,999 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Mugalivakkam have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Jaganathan Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Mugalivakkam sits between Porur and Manapakkam, its AGS Colony, Sabari Nagar, Sakthi Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar and VGN Lakshmi Nagar layouts packed with apartment blocks over ground-floor shops on Mugalivakkam Main Road. Builders, interior and aluminium fabricators, hardware and tile dealers, supermarkets and PG operators trade here. Joint-development revenue recognition, the one-third land abatement, reverse charge on commercial rent and Rule 42 credit reversal on exempt flat sales are the standard questions. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Refund RFD-01 is available to Mugalivakkam businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Manapakkam and Ramapuram on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Mugalivakkam. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Interest on delayed GST payment runs at 18 percent per annum, which is costlier than most working capital finance. Timely computation and payment through our calendar keeps that meter permanently at zero.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
Jaganathan Street is a residential street in Mugalivakkam, about 1.4 km north-east of the centre of Mugalivakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kannappan Street (about 100 m); Sabari Nagar 1st Main Road (about 750 m); Krishnaveni Nagar Main Road (about 850 m); Mugalivakkam Road (about 1.0 km) — so a site visit on Jaganathan Street can usually be combined with other work in Mugalivakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Jaganathan Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Mugalivakkam pincode is 600116.

48th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 17 December 2022 · 2022-12-17
The Council recommended decriminalising parts of the GST regime. The minimum threshold of tax for launching prosecution under Section 132 was raised from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore, except for the offence of issuing invoices without any supply. The compounding amount was reduced from the range of 50 to 150 per cent of tax to 25 to 100 per cent. Three offences were decriminalised altogether: obstructing or preventing an officer in the discharge of duties, deliberate tampering with material evidence, and failure to supply information.
Practical effect: Ordinary compliance failures below Rs 2 crore of tax no longer expose a Chennai proprietor to criminal prosecution, though fake invoicing remains prosecutable at any value.
The Bank of Nova Scotia - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/23/AAR/2018, dated 31 December 2018 · 2018-12-31
The bank imported goods and stored them in a Free Trade Warehousing Zone before they were cleared. It asked whether integrated tax was payable again when the goods were removed from the zone to the domestic tariff area, over and above the tax collected at the time of customs clearance. The Authority, following Circular No. 3/1/2018-IGST dated 25 May 2018, held that the applicant is not liable to pay IGST at the time of removal, the levy arising once at clearance for home consumption.
How we apply it: Chennai importers using FTWZ facilities pay IGST once at clearance and should resist any demand for a second levy on removal.
Circular No. 230/24/2024-GST · 2024-09-10
CBIC clarified that an Indian advertising agency dealing with a foreign client on a principal-to-principal basis is not an intermediary merely because it books media space from Indian publishers. The target audience in India is not the recipient of the service; the foreign client who pays is the recipient. Such services are therefore neither intermediary services nor performance-based services, and qualify as export of services when the other conditions of Section 2(6) of the IGST Act are met.
How we apply it: Chennai advertising, media buying and marketing agencies serving overseas clients can supply under LUT and claim refunds, resisting the intermediary label.
