The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Ramapuram permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Refund RFD-01 from Rs.4,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around 14th Cross Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Ramapuram sits north of Mount Poonamallee Road between the DLF IT Park gate and Ramapuram Main Road, with the SRM Ramapuram campus off Bharathi Salai and dense residential grids in Chowdhary Nagar, Kothari Nagar, Bethaniya Nagar and Majestic Colony. Software and BPO vendors, IT staffing agencies, PG hostels, cloud kitchens and facility contractors bill the DLF tenants, so LUT renewals for export of services, place-of-supply questions on manpower contracts and blocked-credit disputes on canteen and employee cab bills dominate the work here. GST compliance in a market like Ramapuram rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Refund RFD-01 to businesses throughout Ramapuram and nearby Manapakkam and Mugalivakkam on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Ramapuram through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Ramapuram. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When GST knowledge lives inside a single staff member, their resignation becomes a compliance crisis. With our firm as the standing process, your filings continue uninterrupted regardless of internal staff changes.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
14th Cross Street is a residential street in Ramapuram, about 300 m south-west of the centre of Ramapuram. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 13th Cross Street (about 50 m); 16th Cross Street (about 150 m); 15th Cross Street (about 150 m); Anuradha Paint Road (about 250 m) — so a site visit on 14th Cross Street can usually be combined with other work in Ramapuram on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 14th Cross Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Ramapuram pincode is 600089.

CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
Why this matters: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
Union of India v. M/s Willowood Chemicals (P) Ltd — Supreme Court, (2022) 9 SCC 341, judgment dated 19-04-2022 · 2022-04-19
The High Court had awarded exporters interest at nine per cent on refunds released after delays of a few months. Reversing that, the Supreme Court held that the main part of Section 56 of the CGST Act fixes interest at six per cent, and the higher nine per cent rate applies only under the proviso, that is where the refund arises from an order of an adjudicating authority, appellate authority, tribunal or court. Courts cannot apply equitable rates where the statute has spoken.
What to do about it: A Chennai exporter chasing a delayed refund should claim interest at six per cent under Section 56 and reserve the nine per cent claim for refunds sanctioned pursuant to an appellate or court order.
Notification No. 21/2018-Central Tax (Rate), dated 26 July 2018 (G.S.R. 695(E)) · 2018-07-26
This notification created a dedicated table of handicraft items with concessional rates, covering handcrafted candles, carved and inlaid wood products, wooden frames, art ware of cork and sholapith, basketwork and mats of vegetable material including korai mats, handmade paper, papier mache articles, coir products, handmade carpets, bamboo and cane ware. It operated independently of the main goods schedule so that genuine artisan output was not pushed into higher slabs by tariff classification.
Practical effect: Traders in korai mats, coir goods and wooden handicrafts from Tamil Nadu should classify under this notification rather than the general chapter rate.
