Our consultants provide GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to businesses across Sembium starting at Rs.749. Every file is reconciled and senior-reviewed before submission, which is why our clients see far fewer departmental queries than they did while self-filing.
We serve businesses on and around N 1st Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Sembium straddles Paper Mills Road, Madhavaram High Road and Erukkancheri High Road, feeding the Perambur Carriage Works with fabrication shops, rubber and hosiery units, hardware and timber dealers. Bunder Garden Main Street, Melpatti Ponappa Street and Market Street hold provision wholesalers, sweet stalls and lorry booking agents, and the Carriage Works Road sheds house body builders. Transporters issuing consignment notes, reverse charge on freight and e-way bill expiry on Moolakadai bound loads are the standing pain points. Years of working in and around Sembium have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Perambur and Agaram, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Sembium never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Sembium would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
N 1st Street is a residential street in Sembium, about 200 m west of the centre of Sembium. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Pallavan Salai (about 250 m); BALAMURUGAN ST (about 300 m); MOHAMADHIYAR ST (about 400 m); JANAGIRAM NAGAR 2ND Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on N 1st Street can usually be combined with other work in Sembium on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on N 1st Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sembium pincode is 600011.

M/s. Refex Industries Ltd v. Assistant Commissioner of CGST & Central Excise — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 23360 & 23361 of 2019, decided 6 January 2020 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2020-01-06
The department demanded interest on the entire tax shown in belated GSTR-3B returns, including the part discharged from input tax credit. The Madras High Court held that interest under Section 50 is compensatory, and can be levied only on the belated cash payment of tax, not on input tax credit that was lying with the department all along. The proviso inserted in Section 50(1) was treated as curative and applicable to earlier periods as well.
How we apply it: A Chennai business that filed GSTR-3B late should verify that any interest demand is computed only on the cash component of the tax, and contest interest charged on the ITC-set-off portion.
Circular No. 167/23/2021-GST dated 17.12.2021 · 2021-12-17
CBIC clarified the mechanics of the new section 9(5) liability for restaurant services supplied through electronic commerce operators. It confirmed that the operator is not required to collect tax at source on such supplies, that the operator must pay the tax in cash without using input tax credit, that the restaurant need not register merely because it supplies through an operator if it is otherwise below the threshold, and that the operator must issue the invoice for those supplies. It also clarified the treatment of the operator's own delivery charges.
How we apply it: Chennai restaurants on delivery platforms should reconcile the platform's monthly statement against their own books before filing, to avoid double payment or an unexplained turnover gap.
38th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 18 December 2019 · 2019-12-18
The Council waived late fee for taxpayers who furnished all pending statements of outward supplies in GSTR-1 for the tax periods from July 2017 to November 2019, provided they were filed by 10 January 2020. It also decided that e-way bill generation would be blocked for taxpayers who had not filed GSTR-1 for two tax periods, extending the blocking mechanism that already applied to GSTR-3B defaulters. Standard operating procedures were prescribed for officers dealing with non-filers, and Grievance Redressal Committees were set up at zonal and state level.
Practical effect: GSTR-1 default now carries its own e-way bill block, so filing GSTR-3B alone is not enough to keep despatches moving.
