Sholinganallur is the OMR IT corridor's signal hub, home to ELCOT SEZ campuses of major IT companies plus PG accommodations, cloud kitchens and builders along Medavakkam-Sholinganallur Main Road. SEZ-focused exporters must keep LUTs current each financial year for zero-rated billing, and landlords letting to IT staff must separate exempt residential from taxable commercial rental income. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing across Sholinganallur for years, along with clients from Navalur and Medavakkam. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Sholinganallur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Sholinganallur business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Sholinganallur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
4th Cross Street is a residential street in Sholinganallur, about 1.4 km south-west of the centre of Sholinganallur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Classic Farms Avenue (about 150 m); ELCOT Avenue (about 850 m); Rajiv Gandhi Salai (about 1.3 km); Village High Road (about 1.6 km) — so a site visit on 4th Cross Street can usually be combined with other work in Sholinganallur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 4th Cross Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Sholinganallur pincode is 600119.

A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Mr. Kannippan Arumugan v. Assistant Commissioner (ST) — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 2943 of 2026, decided 30 January 2026 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2026-01-30
The taxpayer had reported tax of Rs 2,54,040.30 against an invoice instead of the correct Rs 1,31,280.30, and a demand followed. The Court quashed the assessment order dated 21 July 2025 and remitted the matter for fresh adjudication within six months, permitting the petitioner to rectify the inadvertent error subject to compliance with Circular No. 212/6/2024-GST, and directing the officer to verify with the recipient's jurisdiction whether excess credit had in fact been availed.
Practical effect: A clerical overstatement in GSTR-1 by a Chennai supplier can still be corrected long afterwards, provided the recipient has not taken the excess credit and the Circular 212 procedure is followed.
Circular No. 136/06/2020-GST dated 3 April 2020 · 2020-04-03
CBIC explained the relief notified through Notifications 30 to 36 of 2020-Central Tax after the first lockdown. It set out, return by return and class by class, the extended dates for GSTR-3B and GSTR-1, the conditional waiver of interest for the tax periods February to April 2020 with nil interest for the first fifteen days and nine per cent thereafter for larger taxpayers, the waiver of late fee, the relaxation of the rule 36(4) credit restriction, and the extension for composition taxpayers.
Why this matters: Interest and late fee demands for the early 2020 periods must be tested against these concessional rates before they are paid.
23rd GST Council Meeting, Guwahati — 10 November 2017 (PIB Release ID 1509013) · 2017-11-10
The Council decided that all taxpayers would file GSTR-3B with payment of tax by the 20th of the succeeding month until March 2018, and that for GSTR-1 taxpayers would be divided by turnover. Those with annual aggregate turnover up to Rs 1.5 crore would file GSTR-1 quarterly, and those above that figure monthly, with a detailed table of due dates. Filing of GSTR-1 was to continue without requiring GSTR-2 and GSTR-3 for the previous period.
Practical effect: The turnover-based split between monthly and quarterly GSTR-1 that still determines a Chennai business's filing calendar was created here.
