Tiruvottiyur is North Chennai's old factory belt, where engineering, chemical and consumer goods plants sit along Thiruvottiyur High Road and Ennore High Road near the Vadivudai Amman temple, with scrap yards and transport contractors filling the side lanes towards Sathangadu. Units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must issue e-invoices, and freight-heavy dispatches make reverse charge on goods transport agency bills a monthly checkpoint. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to clients across Tiruvottiyur and neighbouring Ennore and Manali, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in Tiruvottiyur, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Tiruvottiyur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Tiruvottiyur compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
Seshachala Gramani Street is a main connecting road in Tiruvottiyur, about 1.2 km south of the centre of Tiruvottiyur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Village Street (about 200 m); LIG Colony 1st Street (about 300 m); Sattangadu High Road (about 350 m); PRD Road (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Seshachala Gramani Street can usually be combined with other work in Tiruvottiyur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Seshachala Gramani Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Tiruvottiyur pincode is 600019.

Skill Lotto Solutions (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, 2020 · 2020-12-03
The Supreme Court upheld the levy of GST on lotteries, holding that the inclusion of actionable claims such as lottery, betting and gambling within the definition of 'goods' under Section 2(52) CGST Act is constitutionally valid and not discriminatory. It further held that GST is payable on the face value of lottery tickets, including the prize money component, rejecting the argument that prize money should be excluded from the taxable value.
What to do about it: The ruling confirms Parliament's wide power to tax actionable claims under GST — businesses in gaming, contests and promotional schemes should price for GST on gross face value.
GSTN Advisory dated 7 June 2025 — non-editable auto-populated liability in GSTR-3B · 2025-06-07
After an October 2024 advisory and a January 2025 deferment, GSTN confirmed that from the July 2025 tax period the auto-populated outward tax liability in GSTR-3B, drawn from GSTR-1, IFF or GSTR-1A, is hard-locked and cannot be edited manually while filing. Any correction to sales figures must be made through GSTR-1A before GSTR-3B is filed. The change is intended to end mismatches between GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
How we apply it: Reconcile sales data before filing GSTR-1 each month, since GSTR-3B can no longer be adjusted at the last minute.
Circular No. 186/18/2022-GST · 2022-12-27
The Board clarified two unrelated points. A no claim bonus allowed by an insurer is a permissible discount under Section 15(3)(a) and may be deducted from the value of the insurance service, provided it is shown in the invoice. Separately, where an entity is exempt from the requirement to issue e-invoices, that exemption attaches to the entity as a whole and covers all its supplies, including supplies unrelated to the activity that gave rise to the exemption.
Why this matters: An exempt category business such as a bank, insurer or goods transport agency in Chennai need not issue e-invoices for any of its supplies, not merely its core activity.
