From Rs.2,999, our team delivers GST Notice Reply for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Alandur. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around North Parade Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Alandur, at the Kathipara junction of GST Road and Inner Ring Road with a metro interchange, is a base for transporters, warehouses and traders serving the airport belt. Consignors must issue e-way bills for goods movements above Rs.50,000, and businesses hiring lorries routinely miss reverse charge liability on GTA freight until an audit or ASMT-10 notice surfaces it. GST compliance in a market like Alandur rewards consistency — returns that match, credits that reconcile, and records that stand up to scrutiny. Our team provides GST Notice Reply to businesses throughout Alandur and nearby Guindy and St. Thomas Mount on fixed, transparent fees. From the first document checklist to the final acknowledgement on WhatsApp, the process is structured so nothing depends on memory, luck or a due-date-evening scramble.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Alandur often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Alandur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Alandur never writes back to you as a demand years later.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
North Parade Road is a main connecting road in Alandur, about 350 m north-west of the centre of Alandur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Butt Road (about 250 m); 1st Street (about 350 m); 1st Cross Street (about 400 m); Vishnu Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on North Parade Road can usually be combined with other work in Alandur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on North Parade Road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Alandur pincode is 600016.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
Thirumalakonda Plywoods v. Assistant Commissioner (ST) — Andhra Pradesh High Court, 2023 · 2023-07-18
The Andhra Pradesh High Court upheld the constitutional validity of Section 16(4) CGST Act, which bars availment of input tax credit after the prescribed deadline, holding that ITC is a conditional concession and the time limit is neither violative of Articles 14, 19 or 300A nor overridden by the non-obstante acceptance of a belated return with late fee. Parliament subsequently granted relief through Section 16(5), retrospectively extending the deadline for FY 2017-18 to 2020-21 up to 30 November 2021.
How we apply it: Claim every invoice's ITC well before the annual cut-off; for old years, check whether the retrospective Section 16(5) window and its amnesty procedures cure your late claims.
Notification No. 04/2024-Central Tax · 2024-01-05
CBIC notified a special procedure under Section 148 for manufacturers of pan masala, unmanufactured tobacco, chewing tobacco, zarda and similar products. Such manufacturers must declare details of every packing machine, its make, capacity and installation address, in Form GST SRM-I within the prescribed time, report any addition or removal of machines, and file a monthly statement of inputs and outputs in Form GST SRM-II. The procedure took effect from 1 April 2024 and carries a separate penalty for unregistered machines.
What to do about it: Any Chennai unit packing tobacco or pan masala products must register every machine in SRM-I and file SRM-II monthly, entirely separate from its normal GST returns.
Circular No. 178/10/2022-GST · 2022-08-03
This is the leading circular on the agreeing to tolerate an act entry. The Board held that liquidated damages paid for breach of contract are a flow of money compensating for injury, not consideration for any service, so no GST applies. The same reasoning covers notice pay recovered from employees, cheque dishonour charges, fines and penalties for violation of a contract or a law, and forfeiture of salary or bond amounts, unless there is a genuine independent agreement to tolerate an act. A late payment surcharge or fee is treated differently, as it is naturally bundled with the principal supply and forms part of its value.
What it means for you: Chennai employers and contractors should resist departmental demands on notice pay recovery and liquidated damages by citing this circular in the reply itself.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
