Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your ASMT-10 Scrutiny Reply is completed on the portal from Rs.3,999 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Peravallur have relied on for years.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Peravallur runs between Paper Mills Road, Constable Road and the 70 Feet Road, a belt of job work machine shops, welding and powder coating units, timber and hardware yards and lorry booking offices feeding Perambur Loco Works. GKM Colony, SRP Colony and Periyar Nagar add provision stores and rented godowns off Venkatesan Road and Karthikeyan Road. Job work challans under ITC-04, unregistered labour on reverse charge and e-way bills for short hauls are the recurring headaches. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Peravallur every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver ASMT-10 Scrutiny Reply for businesses in Peravallur, and clients also reach us from Perambur and Kolathur nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in Peravallur would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Peravallur often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
Each item in the ASMT-10 annexure is mapped to its source, whether a GSTR-1 versus 3B gap, a 2B excess, or an e-way bill mismatch.
We rebuild the numbers from invoices and registers, identifying timing differences, amendments and credit notes that legitimately explain the gaps the officer has computed.
For each discrepancy we advise whether to explain with evidence or accept and pay, so the reply concedes nothing that is actually defensible.
The reply is drafted with annexures, approved by you, and filed in Form ASMT-11 within the thirty-day limit, with DRC-03 attached for any admitted amount.
We pursue the officer for the acceptance order in ASMT-12, respond to any further queries, and document the closure to protect you in future proceedings.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 4-6 working days; statutory limit 30 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
Real notifications, rulings and case law our consultants track — and apply to client filings and notice replies.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
Practical effect: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
46th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 31 December 2021 · 2021-12-31
The 46th meeting was convened on the last day of 2021 with essentially one outcome. The Council recommended deferring the decision to change the rates in textiles that had been recommended at the 45th meeting, so that the existing rates in the textile sector would continue beyond 1 January 2022. The reversal came after sustained representations from textile states and the trade that the increase from 5 to 12 per cent would raise costs for consumers and unorganised weavers. The footwear rate increase, however, went ahead as planned.
How we apply it: Textile traders in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu continued at five per cent from January 2022, but footwear moved to twelve per cent, so the two sectors diverged from that date.
Notification No. 49/2019-Central Tax dated 09.10.2019 · 2019-10-09
This notification made the CGST (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2019 and inserted sub-rule (4) in rule 36. It provided that input tax credit in respect of invoices or debit notes not uploaded by suppliers in their FORM GSTR-1 could not exceed twenty per cent of the eligible credit available in respect of invoices that had been uploaded. This was the first provisional-credit cap, and the percentage was progressively tightened before the concept was replaced by section 16(2)(aa).
Practical effect: From October 2019 a Chennai business could no longer claim credit purely from purchase invoices, making monthly reconciliation with GSTR-2A and later GSTR-2B unavoidable.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
