Ayanambakkam lies north of Vanagaram on the Vanagaram-Ambattur-Puzhal Road, pairing the old village core around Etteeswarar Koil Street, Vellalar Street and Yadaval Street with gated blocks off S&P Main Road, Metro City Park Road and the Nolambur Phase-1 edge. Fabrication and job-work units, godown operators, apartment promoters, supermarkets and packers-and-movers trade here. Missed ITC-04 filings for goods sent to job workers, works-contract classification and QRMP versus monthly return choices are the routine issues. Years of working in and around Ayanambakkam have shown us where GST trouble actually begins here — supplier defaults, classification doubts and deadlines lost in busy trading weeks. Our GST Refund RFD-01 is built to close precisely those gaps, and the same team supports businesses in Vanagaram and Nolambur, each with one point of contact and a compliance calendar maintained on their behalf.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Ayanambakkam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Ayanambakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Ayanambakkam never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
Freight paid to transporters, advocate fees, imported services and other notified supplies attract GST under reverse charge, with self-invoicing where the supplier is unregistered. We maintain a running RCM check every period, because this is the liability self-filers most consistently miss.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
Bourbon Street is a residential street in Ayanambakkam, about 1.1 km east of the centre of Ayanambakkam. M/s. Gillette Diversified Operations (P) Ltd v. Joint Commissioner of GST & Central Excise (Appeals-II) — Madras High Court, W.P. Nos. 6524, 6527, 6531, 6537 and 6541 of 2022, decided 5 February 2025 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2025-02-05
Refund claims for unutilised credit on zero-rated exports of July to September 2017 were filed on 21 September, 9 October and 10 October 2018, returned through deficiency memos, and resubmitted later. The appellate authority treated the resubmissions as fresh applications and rejected them as time-barred. The Court allowed three of the five petitions and quashed those orders, holding that the original applications were within two years of the exports and that a resubmission after curing deficiencies cannot start a new limitation period, the 2021 proviso to Rule 90(3) not applying retrospectively.
What it means for you: Chennai exporters whose refund was returned by a deficiency memo should preserve the original ARN and acknowledgement — limitation is counted from that first filing, not the re-filed one.
14th GST Council Meeting, Srinagar — 18-19 May 2017 (PIB Release ID 1490274) · 2017-05-18
The Council completed the fitment exercise for goods and broadly approved GST rates at nil, five, twelve, eighteen and twenty-eight per cent across the tariff, along with the rates of GST compensation cess to be levied on specified goods. The chapter-wise, rate-wise schedule dated 18 May 2017 was published on the CBEC website immediately after the meeting, subject to further vetting, and formed the basis of the rate notifications issued for the 1 July 2017 rollout.
Practical effect: The original HSN-wise rate schedule for your products dates from this meeting; classification disputes often turn on how an item was fitted here.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedule I, Chapters 33 and 34 · 2025-09-17
Hair oil and shampoo, toilet soap in the form of bars and cakes other than industrial soap, toothpaste, tooth powder and dental floss were moved into Schedule I at five per cent from 22 September 2025, down from eighteen per cent. Other soaps and organic surface-active preparations, and dentifrices other than the listed items, remain in Schedule II at eighteen per cent, so the concession is confined to the everyday personal care items the Council named.
Why this matters: FMCG distributors must apply five per cent only to the named items and keep the balance of the toiletries range at eighteen per cent, since the split within one chapter is easy to get wrong.
