Professional Composition & CMP-08 for businesses in Alwarpet, handled end to end by an experienced Chennai GST team. Transparent pricing from Rs.499, senior review on every filing, and updates on WhatsApp at each stage of the work.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Alwarpet pairs boutique retail and fine dining with speciality hospitals and professional firms along TTK Road, Eldams Road and C.P. Ramaswamy Road. Clinics mixing exempt healthcare with taxable pharmacy and room income face ITC apportionment disputes, while the area's architects, designers and consultancies must manage RCM on imported services, advance receipts and 18 per cent output billing. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides Composition & CMP-08 to clients across Alwarpet and neighbouring Mylapore and Teynampet, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Alwarpet always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Alwarpet often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Alwarpet regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
You deal with one accountable person who knows your business, your turnover pattern and your filing history. No repeating your story to a new voice every month, and no file falling between two desks when a deadline is approaching.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
We verify your turnover and business type against composition conditions, and file CMP-02 to opt in from the start of the financial year where applicable.
Each quarter we collect your sales summary, apply the correct composition rate, and add any tax payable under reverse charge on specified inward supplies.
The statement-cum-challan in Form CMP-08 is prepared, tax is paid, and the form is filed by the 18th of the month following the quarter.
After year end we consolidate the four quarters, reconcile with your books, and file the annual return in GSTR-4 before the 30 June due date.
We track your cumulative turnover through the year and, if the Rs.1.5 crore or Rs.50 lakh limit nears, manage a clean transition to the regular scheme.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter; GSTR-4 by 30 June · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
A working knowledge of recent instruments and judgments is what separates a defensible filing from a risky one.
14th GST Council Meeting, Srinagar — 18-19 May 2017 (PIB Release ID 1490274) · 2017-05-18
The Council completed the fitment exercise for goods and broadly approved GST rates at nil, five, twelve, eighteen and twenty-eight per cent across the tariff, along with the rates of GST compensation cess to be levied on specified goods. The chapter-wise, rate-wise schedule dated 18 May 2017 was published on the CBEC website immediately after the meeting, subject to further vetting, and formed the basis of the rate notifications issued for the 1 July 2017 rollout.
What it means for you: The original HSN-wise rate schedule for your products dates from this meeting; classification disputes often turn on how an item was fitted here.
Coronation Arts Crafts - AAR Tamil Nadu, Advance Ruling No. 19/ARA/2022, dated 31 May 2022 · 2022-05-31
A printing house printed leaflets and similar material using content supplied by the customer but paper, ink and other physical inputs of its own. It asked for the correct classification and rate. The Authority held that this is a composite supply in which the printing service is the principal supply, and the supply is therefore taxable at 18 percent. The customer supplying only the content or artwork did not alter the classification.
Why this matters: A Chennai printer supplying its own paper should charge 18 percent on job printed leaflets instead of assuming a lower book rate.
Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise v. Hongo India (P) Ltd — Supreme Court, (2009) 5 SCC 791, judgment dated 27-03-2009 · 2009-03-27
The Supreme Court held that where a special taxing statute provides a complete code with its own limitation scheme, the general provisions of the Limitation Act permitting condonation of delay do not apply. Delay in filing a reference or appeal beyond the period prescribed by the special statute cannot be condoned. The scheme, language and object of the special Act determine whether the Limitation Act is impliedly excluded.
What it means for you: Chennai businesses must treat GST appeal and revision deadlines as absolute, since general limitation relief is not available.
