Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GST for E-Commerce Sellers is completed on the portal from Rs.1,499 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Egmore have relied on for years.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Every locality in Chennai has its own commercial rhythm, and Egmore is no exception. Egmore's economy runs on its railway terminus: hotels and lodges on Gandhi Irwin Road and Kennet Lane, restaurants, travel operators and medical suppliers around the Government Museum and Pantheon Road. Hospitality operators here wrestle with GST rate slabs on room tariffs, restaurant supplies without input credit, and TCS reconciliation on bookings received through e-commerce travel platforms. Our practice has shaped its GST for E-Commerce Sellers work around exactly these realities, serving clients in Egmore as well as Chetpet and Vepery. Registrations, returns, refunds and notice replies are handled by one accountable team, with fees fixed in writing before work begins and every filing reconciled against portal data before it is submitted.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
If a query, ASMT-10 scrutiny notice or DRC-01 arrives on a return we filed, we stand behind our work and help you draft the reply. You are not left alone with a departmental letter and a thirty-day clock ticking against you.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Egmore through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Egmore compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Egmore never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
Each month we collect sales, settlement and returns reports from every marketplace you sell on, plus purchase bills and marketplace commission invoices.
Marketplace data is converted into GST-ready figures: state-wise B2C supplies by place of supply, B2B invoices where applicable, and credit notes for customer returns.
GSTR-1 is filed by the 11th and GSTR-3B by the 20th, with input tax credit on commissions, shipping and inventory purchases reconciled against GSTR-2B.
TCS reported by operators in GSTR-8 is accepted on the portal, matched against your sales, and differences are traced to returns, cancellations or timing.
You receive a seller compliance summary covering sales by state, tax paid, TCS credits claimed and pending mismatches, with alerts on any new marketplace requirement.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
GST law moves through notifications, circulars and court decisions. These are the ones changing how filings are prepared right now.
Circular No. 167/23/2021-GST dated 17 December 2021 · 2021-12-17
Following the 45th GST Council meeting, restaurant service supplied through an e-commerce operator was notified under section 9(5) with effect from 1 January 2022. CBIC clarified that the operator, and not the restaurant, is liable to pay the tax on such supplies, must discharge it in cash without using input tax credit, and issues the invoice for the service. The restaurant continues to pay tax on its own dine-in and direct sales, and the aggregate turnover of the restaurant still includes the supplies made through the platform.
What to do about it: Chennai restaurants listed on delivery platforms must separate platform sales from direct sales in their records, because the tax on the former is paid by the platform.
Notification No. 6/2022-Central Tax (Rate), dated 13 July 2022 · 2022-07-13
Acting on the 47th GST Council recommendation, this notification rewrote the goods schedule so that curd, lassi, buttermilk, paneer, honey, cereals, pulses, flour, jaggery, puffed rice and similar staples attract five per cent when they are pre-packaged and labelled. The earlier test of whether the goods carried a registered brand name was abandoned, because it had been widely defeated by suppliers voluntarily forgoing brand registration. The change took effect from 18 July 2022.
Practical effect: From July 2022 a Chennai rice or flour dealer selling in labelled retail packs charges five per cent even if the pack carries no registered brand.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, (2006) 3 SCC 1, judgment dated 02-03-2006 · 2006-03-02
The Supreme Court held that the same transaction may have a goods aspect and a service aspect, and different legislatures may tax different aspects, but the same element cannot be taxed twice. A composite contract cannot be split into goods and services except in the cases specifically permitted by Article 366(29A), such as works contracts and catering. The dominant nature test was applied to decide the character of the contract.
What to do about it: Chennai businesses with bundled offerings should determine the dominant character of the supply, since that decides classification and rate under GST.
