One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have GST Appeal APL-01 in Ambattur handled end to end from Rs.9,999 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Ambattur hosts one of South India's largest small-scale industrial estates, where thousands of engineering, auto component, garment and fabrication units operate across the North and South phases off MTH Road and Ambattur-Red Hills Road. Job work movements between units demand disciplined ITC-04 and delivery challan records, while exporters and units crossing Rs.5 crore turnover must manage LUT filings and e-invoicing. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Appeal APL-01 across Ambattur for years, along with clients from Avadi and Padi. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Ambattur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Ambattur through each of these so month one starts correctly.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
We analyse the order for factual, computational and legal errors, confirm the three-month limitation position, and agree the grounds on which the appeal will proceed.
The disputed tax is quantified, the mandatory 10% pre-deposit is computed, and payment is made through the cash or credit ledger so recovery of the balance is stayed.
The statement of facts and grounds of appeal are drafted with supporting reconciliations and judicial precedents, and reviewed with you before filing.
The appeal is filed on the portal in Form APL-01 with annexures, and the final acknowledgement in APL-02 is obtained after submission of the certified order copy.
We file written submissions, appear at the personal hearing, address the authority's questions, and follow the matter through to the appellate order in APL-04.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Appeal filed within 2-3 weeks of engagement; statutory limit 3 months · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
E-commerce platforms continuously validate seller GSTINs and filing status. A consistently compliant registration keeps your listings active and settlements flowing, with no sudden suspension of your online sales channel.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |

Circular No. 203/15/2023-GST · 2023-10-27
CBIC clarified three recurring place-of-supply questions. For transportation of goods, including by mail or courier, where the supplier or the recipient is outside India, Section 13(9) of the IGST Act stood omitted from 1 October 2023, so the place of supply is now fixed by the default rule in Section 13(2), namely the location of the recipient. For advertising services supplied to a government body, the place of supply follows the location of the recipient under Section 12(2) rather than the location of the hoardings, with State-wise allocation where the contract provides for it. For co-location of servers in a data centre, the supply is a bundle of hosting services and not a letting of immovable property, so the recipient's location governs.
What to do about it: Chennai courier, advertising and data centre businesses should map their invoices to these tests before deciding between IGST and CGST plus SGST.
GSTAT E-Filing Portal advisories, portal operational from 24 September 2025 · 2025-09-24
The GST Appellate Tribunal's e-filing portal at efiling.gstat.gov.in became operational on 24 September 2025, finally giving taxpayers a forum for second appeals against orders of appellate and revisional authorities. Filing of appeals is mandatorily electronic, and advisories prescribe a phased, staggered schedule so that the backlog does not congest the system, with backlog appeals against pre-existing orders permitted to be filed up to 30 June 2026.
Practical effect: List every unfavourable appellate order your business holds and calendar the GSTAT filing windows now, since the backlog window closes on 30 June 2026 and missed tribunal deadlines forfeit the appeal remedy.
49th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 18 February 2023 · 2023-02-18
The 49th GST Council meeting decided to clear the entire balance of GST compensation dues to states, with the Centre releasing Rs 16,982 crore for June 2022 from its own resources pending cess collections. The Council also approved release of admissible final compensation to states that had furnished revenue figures certified by their Accountant General. This closed the five-year compensation window promised to states at the launch of GST, while cess collections continued to service the back-to-back loans taken during COVID.
What it means for you: Compensation cess on items like aerated drinks, coal and motor vehicles continued to apply to fund loan repayment, so businesses dealing in cess goods had to keep charging it.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.

The analyser reports what your notice says and the statutory position for that form. It is not a substitute for a consultant reading your actual records, and a reply should be reviewed before you file it.
