Reliable GSTR-9 Annual Return for Red Hills businesses at a clear, fixed fee starting Rs.4,999. We handle the documentation, portal work and follow-up, you approve the draft before anything is filed, and the acknowledgement reaches you on WhatsApp the moment the filing goes through.

GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Red Hills, at the junction of Grand Northern Trunk Road and the Outer Ring Road beside the Puzhal reservoir, remains Chennai's paddy and rice milling centre, ringed by timber depots, brick suppliers and lorry yards in Puzhal and Padiyanallur. Millers must track the split between exempt loose rice and 5 per cent pre-packaged labelled rice, and reverse proportionate input tax credit on exempt turnover. That is why our GSTR-9 Annual Return engagements in Red Hills follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Madhavaram and Puzhal run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Red Hills are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Red Hills through each of these so month one starts correctly.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces face a three-way match between marketplace reports, GSTR-1 and the TCS the operator deposits against your GSTIN. We reconcile all three every period and accept the TCS credit, so sellers in Red Hills never leave marketplace deductions unclaimed.
We gather all twelve months of filed returns, GSTR-2B data, your annual books and the ITC register, and build a single year-wise working file.
Outward supplies per books are matched with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and every difference from credit notes, amendments or timing is documented with reasons.
Credit claimed in GSTR-3B is reconciled with GSTR-2B and books, then bifurcated into inputs, input services and capital goods as GSTR-9 tables require.
We share the draft GSTR-9 with a note on any shortfall. If tax is payable, we compute 18% interest and prepare DRC-03 for payment.
After your sign-off we file GSTR-9 before 31 December, file any DRC-03, and hand over the acknowledgement with complete reconciliation working papers.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 5-7 working days; statutory due date 31 December · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Statutory windows such as thirty days for an ASMT-11 reply are tracked from the day a notice arrives, so responses go in on time, complete, and with your best case properly presented.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
With the LUT filed at the start of each financial year and refund claims tracked to credit, exporters supply without blocking funds in IGST and recover accumulated credit on schedule.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |

GSTN Advisory dated 7 June 2025 — barring of GST returns after three years (Finance Act, 2023; Notification No. 28/2023-Central Tax) · 2025-06-07
Implementing the Finance Act, 2023 amendments to Sections 37, 39, 44 and 52, notified by Notification No. 28/2023-Central Tax, GSTN advised that from the July 2025 tax period the portal blocks filing of GST returns once three years have passed from their due date. The bar covers GSTR-1, GSTR-1A, GSTR-3B, GSTR-4, GSTR-5, GSTR-5A, GSTR-6, GSTR-7, GSTR-8 and GSTR-9. Taxpayers with old pending returns were urged to reconcile their records and file before the returns became permanently time-barred on the portal.
What to do about it: Clear every pending old return now, because once the three-year window closes the portal will not accept the return and registration consequences follow.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd v. Union of India — Supreme Court, (2006) 3 SCC 1, judgment dated 02-03-2006 · 2006-03-02
The Supreme Court held that the same transaction may have a goods aspect and a service aspect, and different legislatures may tax different aspects, but the same element cannot be taxed twice. A composite contract cannot be split into goods and services except in the cases specifically permitted by Article 366(29A), such as works contracts and catering. The dominant nature test was applied to decide the character of the contract.
What to do about it: Chennai businesses with bundled offerings should determine the dominant character of the supply, since that decides classification and rate under GST.
55th GST Council Meeting, Jaisalmer — 21 December 2024 · 2024-12-21
The 55th meeting reduced GST on fortified rice kernel (FRK) to 5 per cent regardless of end use, supporting public distribution fortification programmes. Gene therapy was fully exempted from GST, a major relief for patients of ultra-expensive treatments. Autoclaved aerated concrete (ACC) blocks containing more than 50 per cent fly ash content were classified under HS 6815 at 12 per cent. The Council also reduced the rate of compensation cess to 0.1 per cent on supplies to merchant exporters, bringing it on par with the concessional 0.1 per cent GST rate on such supplies.
What to do about it: Construction suppliers dealing in fly-ash-based AAC blocks should bill at 12 per cent and revisit classification disputes on past supplies.
