Trusted New GST Registration support for ICF Colony, priced from Rs.1,499 with no hidden additions. Send documents from your phone, approve the prepared draft, and we handle the portal — including the difficult due-date evenings when it slows down.
We serve businesses on and around 25th Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
ICF Colony grew around the Integral Coach Factory, and its economy stays railway facing: precision machine shops, sheet metal fabricators, electrical and painting contractors, uniform tailors and canteen contractors supplying the Shell and Furnishing divisions through Constable Road and Portious Road. Konnur High Road and New Avadi Road add provision stores and hardware, while Welcome Colony and the Officers Colony lanes house staff quarters and rented shops. Vendors here contend with Section 51 TDS deductions, works contract classification and GSTR-2B mismatches on railway purchase orders. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides New GST Registration to clients across ICF Colony and neighbouring Villivakkam and Ayanavaram, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Goods sent to job workers must move on delivery challans, return within the statutory period, and be reported in ITC-04. We track every outward and return leg for manufacturing clients in ICF Colony, so inputs sent out for processing never quietly convert into a deemed supply carrying tax and interest.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in ICF Colony compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
A registration cancelled for non-filing is not the end of the road. We bring the pending returns up to date, clear the dues and file the revocation application in REG-21 within the permitted window, restoring suspended and cancelled GSTINs to active status.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in ICF Colony never writes back to you as a demand years later.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Loan applications and government tenders routinely demand GST returns and registration documents. With everything filed and archived properly, you can produce a complete compliance file within hours instead of days.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
25th Street is a residential street in ICF Colony, about 750 m south of the centre of ICF Colony. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 22nd Street (about 50 m); 24th Street (about 50 m); 27th Street (about 100 m); 30th Street (about 150 m) — so a site visit on 25th Street can usually be combined with other work in ICF Colony on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 25th Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the ICF Colony pincode is 600038.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.

34th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 19 March 2019 · 2019-03-19
The Council gave promoters a one-time option to continue paying tax at the old effective rates of eight or twelve per cent with input tax credit on ongoing projects, meaning buildings where both construction and actual booking had started before 1 April 2019 and which were not completed by 31 March 2019. The option had to be exercised once within a prescribed time frame, failing which the new rates applied automatically. Credit for projects moving across was to be transitioned pro rata.
How we apply it: Chennai builders who did not formally exercise the option in 2019 are on the one and five per cent no-credit rates, and any credit claimed since then is exposed to reversal.
Munjaal Manishbhai Bhatt v. Union of India — Gujarat High Court, 2022 · 2022-05-06
In a bungalow purchase where land constituted the dominant value, the Gujarat High Court held that the deeming fiction treating land value as one-third of the total consideration for GST on construction is arbitrary if applied mandatorily. Where the actual value of land is ascertainable from the agreement, tax must be computed after deducting the real land value; the one-third deduction in the rate notification was read down as optional, available at the taxpayer's choice.
Practical effect: Builders and buyers with separately valued land agreements can compute GST on actual construction value — worth revisiting for plotted developments and villa projects around Chennai.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedule I, S. Nos. 388 to 392 (Chapters 61 to 64) · 2025-09-17
From 22 September 2025 articles of apparel and clothing accessories of Chapters 61 and 62, other made-up textile articles of Chapter 63 and footwear of Chapter 64 attract five per cent where the sale value does not exceed Rs 2,500 per piece or per pair, and eighteen per cent where it exceeds that figure. The old thresholds of Rs 1,000 for garments and the flat twelve per cent on all footwear are gone, and the test is sale value, not maximum retail price.
What to do about it: A T. Nagar garment or footwear retailer must map every stock keeping unit against Rs 2,500 of actual sale value, because that single figure determines whether five or eighteen per cent applies.
