GST Refund RFD-01 in Jamalia does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.4,999, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Stephenson Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Businesses in Jamalia looking for GST Refund RFD-01 want two things: work done correctly and someone answerable when questions come. Jamalia lies on Perambur High Road between Krishna Doss Road, Cooks Road and Perambur Barracks Road, a dense trading pocket of timber and plywood yards, leather and footwear dealers, hardware and sanitary ware shops, bakeries, biryani hotels and cloth retailers running down towards Otteri Bridge and Stephenson Road. Cash-heavy sales, unregistered supplier purchases and GSTR-2B mismatches are the recurring compliance headache. We serve this belt — including Perambur and Otteri — with fixed fees quoted upfront, a written document checklist, and filings completed ahead of statutory due dates. Every acknowledgement is shared the day it is generated, and our support continues if the department raises any query on work we have filed.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Jamalia business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Jamalia compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Where a genuine error is found in a past period, voluntary payment through DRC-03 before any notice issues closes the matter at minimal cost, instead of letting it ripen into a demand with penalty.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |

TVH Lumbini Square Owners Association - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. 25/ARA/2019, dated 21 June 2019 · 2019-06-21
A residents welfare association collected monthly maintenance contributions from its members. The Authority held that where the contribution per member exceeds Rs. 7,500 a month, GST is payable on the entire contribution and not merely on the amount above Rs. 7,500. The Madras High Court subsequently held, in Greenwood Owners Association, that only the excess over Rs. 7,500 is taxable, and associations now follow that judicial position.
Practical effect: Chennai apartment associations should apply the High Court position carefully and keep member-wise workings ready for departmental scrutiny.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate) · 2025-09-17
Implementing the 56th GST Council's rate restructuring, this notification superseded Notification 1/2017-Central Tax (Rate) and prescribed the new goods rate schedule effective 22 September 2025. The 12 and 28 per cent slabs were largely abolished: most daily-use and 12 per cent goods moved to 5 per cent, most 28 per cent goods including consumer durables moved to 18 per cent, and a 40 per cent rate was reserved for a narrow list of sin and luxury goods, with compensation cess subsumed.
How we apply it: Reprice products, update billing software rate masters and review transition stock credits from 22 September 2025, since almost every trader's rate schedule changed under GST 2.0.
Circular No. 37/11/2018-GST dated 15 March 2018 · 2018-03-15
This circular resolved several export refund disputes. An exporter claiming drawback only of basic customs duty remains eligible for refund of unutilised input tax credit. Where exports had already been made before the Letter of Undertaking was furnished, the delay in furnishing the LUT could be condoned and export under LUT allowed on an ex post facto basis, because the substantive benefit of zero rating cannot be denied once the exports are established. A refund claim must relate to a tax period, and once a deficiency memo is issued a fresh application has to be filed. It also clarified the treatment of credit availed in an earlier period. It was later rescinded by Circular No. 125/44/2019-GST.
Why this matters: The drawback and deficiency-memo positions taken here shaped later refund practice, but current claims must follow the master refund Circular 125/44/2019.
