Whether you are a first-time registrant or an established trader, GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Kottivakkam deserves a specialist rather than a side job. From Rs.749, our GST-focused Chennai practice runs the entire process on written checklists and senior-reviewed submissions.
We serve businesses on and around Jagannathan Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Kottivakkam stretches from the Kottivakkam Seafood Market and the Kuppam Road hamlet to the East Coast Road belt of design studios, gyms, service apartments and eateries, with Natco Colony and Karpagambal Nagar housing small traders. Seafood wholesalers moving between exempt fresh and taxable frozen supply, and service-apartment operators billing through aggregators, need careful classification and TCS credit reconciliation. For businesses here, staying on the right side of GST is not optional — buyers check compliance, and the department's systems match every return. Our firm provides GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing to clients across Kottivakkam and neighbouring Thiruvanmiyur and Palavakkam, combining Chennai jurisdiction familiarity with disciplined deadline tracking. Whether you run a shop, a service practice or a growing trading concern, we handle the portal work so you can stay focused on the business itself.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
Your cash ledger, credit ledger and liability register are reviewed regularly, not just at filing time. Excess balances are flagged for use or refund, and where a genuine slip surfaces, a voluntary payment through DRC-03 settles it before it can mature into a notice.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
We work with Chennai GST ranges and circles every week, including the jurisdiction covering Kottivakkam. We know how local proper officers examine registrations, what supporting documents they routinely call for, and how to present a file so it moves without repeated queries.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Correct, complete tax invoices signal a well-run business to customers, vendors and banks alike, quietly strengthening your credibility in every transaction where your paperwork is seen.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
New branches, new product lines and interstate sales all carry GST consequences. With standing professional support, you expand knowing registrations, invoicing and returns will keep pace with the business.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
Jagannathan Street is a residential street in Kottivakkam, about 850 m north-east of the centre of Kottivakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 3rd Cross (about 100 m); 4th Cross (about 100 m); Kottivakkam Kuppam Road (about 100 m); 5th Cross (about 200 m) — so a site visit on Jagannathan Street can usually be combined with other work in Kottivakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Jagannathan Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Kottivakkam pincode is 600041.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
Circular No. 209/3/2024-GST · 2024-06-26
Clarifying the new clause (ca) of Section 10(1) of the IGST Act, CBIC stated that when goods are supplied to an unregistered person and the billing address differs from the delivery address, the place of supply is the delivery address recorded on the invoice. This principally affects e-commerce transactions, where a buyer may bill in one State and ship to another, and determines whether the seller charges CGST-SGST or IGST.
Why this matters: E-commerce sellers must configure invoicing so tax type follows the delivery address, not the billing address, to avoid wrong-tax demands and refund complications.
GSTN Advisories No. 624 dated 27 September 2025 and No. 631 dated 17 October 2025 — IMS enhancements from the October 2025 tax period · 2025-10
GSTN enhanced the Invoice Management System from the October 2025 tax period. Recipients can now keep credit notes and specified records pending for one tax period instead of being forced to accept or reject them immediately, can declare the actual amount of input tax credit to be reduced when accepting a credit note where the credit was never availed or was already reversed, and can save remarks when rejecting or keeping a document pending. GSTR-2B can be recomputed after corrective action is taken.
Why this matters: Train your accounts team on the new pending and partial-reversal options so supplier credit notes do not strip more ITC than legally required.
Rule 88C, CGST Rules, 2017, inserted by Notification No. 26/2022-Central Tax · 2022-12-26
Rule 88C requires the portal to intimate a taxpayer in Form GST DRC-01B whenever the output tax liability declared in GSTR-1 for a period exceeds the liability paid through GSTR-3B beyond the prescribed limit. The taxpayer must either pay the shortfall with interest through Form DRC-03 or furnish an explanation in Part B of DRC-01B within seven days. The facility went live on the portal from mid-2023 and an unanswered intimation blocks the next GSTR-1.
What it means for you: Reconcile GSTR-1 against GSTR-3B every month, because a DRC-01B intimation left unanswered for seven days will freeze your next outward supplies return.
