The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Little Mount permanently ahead of both, delivering GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing from Rs.749 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around West Mada Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. Little Mount sits where Anna Salai meets Sardar Patel Road at the Maraimalai Adigal Bridge, anchored by the hilltop Little Mount Shrine, the state Highways Department campus and its metro station, with auto workshops and small traders spilling over from Saidapet. Works contractors billing government departments here face 2 per cent GST TDS and must reconcile GSTR-7 credits, while small garages battle recurring GSTR-3B late fees. That is why our GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing engagements in Little Mount follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from Saidapet and Guindy run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Little Mount business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Little Mount through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Every acknowledgement, challan, computation sheet and filed return is saved and shared with you in an organised folder. When a bank, buyer or GST officer asks for a document from two years ago, it reaches you the same day without any scrambling.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Little Mount are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
In the days before the 11th and the 20th, our team runs extended hours and a strict internal queue, so a client who sends data late in the window is still filed on time. Peak-season crush at our end never becomes a late fee at yours.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Rs.7,999/year
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
Because turnover in your GST returns is kept aligned with your accounts through the year, income tax filing and statutory audit proceed without the GST-versus-books mismatch queries that now surface routinely through data matching.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |

The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Temple Avenue (about 200 m); LDG Road (about 200 m); North Avenue (about 200 m); South Mada Street (about 200 m) — so a site visit on West Mada Street can usually be combined with other work in Little Mount on the same trip. Rule 59(6), CGST Rules, 2017, inserted by Notification No. 94/2020-Central Tax · 2020-12-22
Rule 59(6) was inserted so that a monthly filer who has not furnished GSTR-3B for the preceding two months cannot file GSTR-1, and a quarterly filer who has not furnished the return for the preceding tax period cannot file GSTR-1 or use the invoice furnishing facility. A person restricted under Rule 86B who has not filed the immediately preceding GSTR-3B is likewise blocked. The restriction was actually switched on at the portal from 1 September 2021, and Notification No. 35/2021-Central Tax later reduced the trigger from two preceding months to the immediately preceding month with effect from 1 January 2022. The same notification also lengthened e-way bill validity computation to two hundred kilometres a day and extended registration processing where physical verification is ordered.
How we apply it: One missed GSTR-3B in a Chennai business now stops the outward statement as well, which in turn stops the customers' credit and quickly escalates into commercial pressure.
Osram Surya (P) Ltd v. Commissioner of Central Excise, Indore — Supreme Court, (2002) 9 SCC 20, judgment dated 02-05-2002 · 2002-05-02
The Supreme Court held that a rule prescribing a period within which credit must be taken from the date of the invoice does not take away any vested right. It merely regulates the manner and time of availing the credit, which the legislature is entitled to do. A taxpayer who fails to take the credit within the prescribed window loses the benefit. This reasoning supports the time limit in Section 16(4) of the CGST Act.
How we apply it: Chennai businesses should reconcile purchase registers with GSTR-2B every month and claim credit within the deadline, as belated claims are generally lost.
Krishna Bhavan Foods and Sweets - AAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/24/AAR/2021, dated 18 June 2021, upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, Order No. TN/AAAR/02/2022, dated 13 January 2022 · 2021-06-18
The applicant sold packaged ready to cook instant mixes for dosai, idli, tiffin items, sweets, health mix and porridge. It argued that these were only flours of cereals and pulses taxable at 5 percent. The Authority classified the products under heading 2106 90 as food preparations not elsewhere specified, attracting 18 percent GST, because the mixing and added ingredients took them out of the concessional flour entries. The Appellate Authority upheld that classification.
Why this matters: Chennai food manufacturers selling instant mixes should confirm whether the product is a plain flour or a preparation before applying 5 percent.
