GST Refund RFD-01 in Oragadam does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.4,999, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Alagappar Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.

This Oragadam is the Ambattur neighbourhood off Oragadam Road and Pudur Main Road, not the SIPCOT industrial corridor of the same name near Sriperumbudur. Its shop-lined lanes around Patel Street, Anna Road and Vijaya Lakshmipuram back onto engineering job-work sheds that feed Ambattur Industrial Estate, a short run down the Vanagaram-Ambattur-Puzhal Road. Machine shops, hardware and steel traders, timber depots, transport godowns and textile retailers file from here, so ITC-04 job-work returns, scrap sales invoicing, e-way bills for inter-unit movement and reverse charge on labour supply dominate. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Oragadam every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver GST Refund RFD-01 for businesses in Oragadam, and clients also reach us from Ambattur and Kallikuppam nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Oragadam never writes back to you as a demand years later.
Composition dealers have their own rulebook — CMP-08 every quarter, GSTR-4 annually by 30 June, bills of supply instead of tax invoices, and a turnover ceiling that must be watched. We handle each of these correctly so the scheme's simplicity never turns into a violation.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Oragadam are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
With returns filed ahead of the statutory due dates every period, the Rs.50-per-day GSTR-3B late fee simply stops appearing in your life, and the money stays in your business where it belongs.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
Alagappar Street is a residential street in Oragadam, about 400 m west of the centre of Oragadam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 10th Main Road (about 250 m); EVR Street (about 500 m); Vanagaram - Ambathur - Puzhal Road (about 600 m); Gandhi Main Road (about 700 m) — so a site visit on Alagappar Street can usually be combined with other work in Oragadam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Alagappar Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Oragadam pincode is 600053.

Circular No. 203/15/2023-GST · 2023-10-27
CBIC clarified three recurring place-of-supply questions. For transportation of goods, including by mail or courier, where the supplier or the recipient is outside India, Section 13(9) of the IGST Act stood omitted from 1 October 2023, so the place of supply is now fixed by the default rule in Section 13(2), namely the location of the recipient. For advertising services supplied to a government body, the place of supply follows the location of the recipient under Section 12(2) rather than the location of the hoardings, with State-wise allocation where the contract provides for it. For co-location of servers in a data centre, the supply is a bundle of hosting services and not a letting of immovable property, so the recipient's location governs.
How we apply it: Chennai courier, advertising and data centre businesses should map their invoices to these tests before deciding between IGST and CGST plus SGST.
52nd GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 7 October 2023 · 2023-10-07
The Council recommended nil GST on food preparation of millet flour in powder form containing at least 70 per cent millets by weight when sold loose, and 5 per cent when pre-packaged and labelled. GST on molasses was slashed from 28 per cent to 5 per cent to benefit sugarcane farmers and reduce cattle feed costs. The Council also clarified that job work services of converting barley into malt attract the concessional 5 per cent rate applicable to job work in relation to food products, and not 18 per cent.
Practical effect: Food processors and cattle-feed traders in Tamil Nadu gained significant input cost relief and needed to re-price millet-based products.
Commissioner of Customs (Import), Mumbai v. Dilip Kumar & Co — Supreme Court, Constitution Bench, (2018) 9 SCC 1, judgment dated 30-07-2018 · 2018-07-30
A five-judge Bench held that an exemption notification must be interpreted strictly, and the burden of proving entitlement lies on the person claiming it. If there is genuine ambiguity in the wording of an exemption, the benefit of doubt goes to the revenue, not the taxpayer. This overruled the contrary view in Sun Export. The principle applies squarely to GST exemption and concessional rate notifications.
Why this matters: A Chennai business claiming a GST exemption or concessional rate must fit precisely within the notification's wording, as courts will not read it liberally.
