Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is completed on the portal from Rs.749 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Perungudi have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Estate Main road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Perungudi anchors the northern OMR IT corridor, with tech parks along Rajiv Gandhi Salai and Dr. MGR Salai at Kandanchavadi and a service ecosystem of caterers, facility managers and transport vendors. IT exporters need annual LUT renewal in RFD-11 and refunds of unutilised ITC on zero-rated supplies, while vendors billing SEZ units must document endorsed invoices correctly. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing is available to Perungudi businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Thoraipakkam and Taramani on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
The annual return and, where turnover crosses Rs.5 crore, the self-certified reconciliation statement in GSTR-9C are prepared by the same team that filed your monthly returns. Nothing about your year has to be rediscovered or explained to a stranger in December.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Perungudi regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
GST is confusing enough without a language barrier. Our team explains notices, tax positions and filing requirements in plain Tamil or English, whichever you and your staff in Perungudi are comfortable with, and keeps written communication simple and jargon-free.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Sales returns, discounts and price revisions are adjusted through properly reported credit notes within the statutory window, so you never keep paying tax on turnover you have already reversed.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Registration and amendments | Query-resistant applications prepared correctly the first time, with supporting documents matched to what proper officers actually verify. | Repeated clarification memos and resubmissions, with weeks lost because a rent agreement or premises photograph did not meet expectations. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
Estate Main road is a local street in Perungudi, about 650 m south of the centre of Perungudi. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 1st Street (about 200 m); Panchayat Main Road (about 500 m); 3rd Main road (about 550 m); 2nd Cross Street (about 550 m) — so a site visit on Estate Main road can usually be combined with other work in Perungudi on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Estate Main road falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Perungudi pincode is 600096.

Saro Enterprises - AAR Tamil Nadu (2018), upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, order dated 6 February 2019 · 2018
The applicant made polypropylene and recycled plastic trays used by farmers to raise paddy and vegetable seedlings, and argued that they were agricultural implements. The Authority held that the trays are other articles of plastic under heading 3926 90 99 and are taxable at 9 percent central tax and 9 percent State tax. Use in agriculture does not by itself bring a product within the exempt agricultural implements entry, and the material and the tariff description prevail over the end use.
Why this matters: Chennai suppliers to the farm sector cannot assume exemption merely because the buyer uses the product in agriculture.
Star Engineers (India) (P) Ltd v. Union of India — Bombay High Court, Writ Petition No. 15368 of 2023, judgment dated 14 December 2023 · 2023-12-14
The company made bona fide clerical errors in its GSTR-1 which prevented its customer from taking credit, and the portal would not permit correction after the statutory deadline had passed. The High Court held that GST is a technology-driven regime intended to be taxpayer-friendly, that a genuine error causing no loss of revenue ought to be permitted to be corrected, and directed the authorities to allow rectification of the returns for the relevant period.
What to do about it: Where a GSTR-1 error is blocking your customer's credit, a rectification request supported by this judgment is worth making even after the statutory deadline.
GSTN Advisories dated 12 April 2023 and 6 May 2023 — time limit for reporting invoices on the Invoice Registration Portal · 2023-04-12
GSTN announced that taxpayers with aggregate annual turnover of one hundred crore rupees or more would be unable to report an invoice on the Invoice Registration Portal more than seven days after the document date, with effect from 1 May 2023. After representations the implementation was deferred by three months. The idea returned later as a thirty day reporting limit applying to taxpayers with turnover of ten crore rupees and above.
What to do about it: Large Chennai taxpayers should generate the invoice reference number on the day of billing rather than leaving e-invoicing to month end.
