From Rs.4,999, our team delivers GST Refund RFD-01 for shops, service providers and manufacturers across Puzhal. Local jurisdiction knowledge, deadline tracking and honest, upfront fees — the way GST compliance in Chennai should actually work.
We serve businesses on and around Senthil Nagar Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Choosing GST Refund RFD-01 in Puzhal is ultimately an act of trust: you are handing over sales figures, purchase records and portal access. Puzhal sits between the Red Hills reservoir bund and the Chennai Bypass, so Grand Northern Trunk Road, Paper Mills Road and the Madhavaram-Red Hills Road carry godowns, lorry booking offices, timber depots and poultry traders serving Kathirvedu, Kavangarai and the Central Prison township. Transporters here face constant e-way bill and Part-B extension queries, while godown keepers get pulled up for not adding the premises as an additional place of business. We earn that trust the unglamorous way — fixed fees honoured, drafts approved by you before filing, acknowledgements shared the same day, and strict confidentiality throughout. Clients across Puzhal, Red Hills and Madhavaram have stayed with us for years on precisely this basis.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Puzhal often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
Traders, manufacturers, contractors, e-commerce sellers, professionals and service exporters — we have handled GST for all of them. Whatever mix of goods and services your Puzhal business supplies, the rate, classification and place-of-supply questions have almost certainly crossed our desk before.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Puzhal regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
From filing the LUT in RFD-11 at the start of each financial year to preparing RFD-01 refund claims with complete annexures, we know what makes a refund file move. Exporters and inverted-duty businesses come to us specifically for this.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Puzhal through each of these so month one starts correctly.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Systematic GSTR-2B matching and supplier follow-up mean input tax credit that was leaking away under self-filing is captured each month, directly reducing the cash you pay out with every GSTR-3B.
A fixed professional fee is almost always cheaper than the combination of late fees, interest, lost credit and staff hours that informal, last-minute compliance quietly accumulates over a year.
Each period you receive a simple computation showing output tax, credit utilised and net cash payable, so GST becomes a number you understand and question rather than a figure you accept blindly.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Time cost | Roughly an hour a month to send data and approve drafts; the portal work, reconciliation and follow-up are ours. | Hours every month lost to portal errors, JSON files, OTP failures and reworking figures — usually on the due date itself. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Senthil Nagar Main Road is a residential street in Puzhal, about 1.0 km south-west of the centre of Puzhal. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 2nd Cross Street (about 400 m); 6th main road (about 550 m); Kannagi Street (about 650 m); Gandhi Street (about 650 m) — so a site visit on Senthil Nagar Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Puzhal on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Senthil Nagar Main Road falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Puzhal pincode is 600066.

M/s. Lodha Roadways v. Deputy State Tax Officer — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 12595 of 2023, decided 24 April 2023 (Anita Sumanth J.) · 2023-04-24
A transporter sought release of detained goods. The Court dismissed the petition, holding that under Section 129 the entitlement to seek release of goods lies only with the owner, his agent or representative. The transporter's remedy is confined to release of the conveyance on payment of the penalty or one lakh rupees, whichever is less. Any claim about payment of tax on the consignment has to be pursued by the assessee who owns the goods, not by the carrier.
What it means for you: When a Chennai consignment is detained, the consignor or consignee must file the release application in its own name; letting the lorry operator do it will cost time.
Circular No. 201/13/2023-GST · 2023-08-01
CBIC clarified that where a director rents out immovable property to the company in his personal capacity rather than as a director, the reverse charge entry for director's services does not apply and the ordinary forward charge rules govern. It also clarified that supply of food and beverages in cinema halls is taxable as a restaurant service at five per cent without input tax credit, unless the sale of the ticket and the food are clubbed as a composite supply with the ticket as the principal supply.
Practical effect: Companies paying rent to a director for personally owned premises need not discharge reverse charge under the director's-services entry, but must check the landlord's registration status.
Notification No. 5/2017-Central Tax (Rate), dated 28 June 2017 · 2017-06-28
Issued under the proviso to Section 54(3), this notification names goods whose suppliers may not claim refund of input tax credit accumulated because inputs are taxed higher than outputs. The original list covered specified woven and knitted fabrics and certain railway goods. The restriction on fabrics was lifted from 1 August 2018, but credit lying unutilised on that date was made to lapse, and the notification continues to block refunds for the goods still listed in it.
How we apply it: Before filing an inverted duty refund, check whether your finished goods appear in this list, because a refund claim on a blocked item will be rejected and may invite penalty.
