The 11th and the 20th arrive every month whether you are ready or not. Our Chennai team keeps businesses in Sembium permanently ahead of both, delivering GST Refund RFD-01 from Rs.4,999 with reconciliation, senior review and WhatsApp acknowledgements as standard.
We serve businesses on and around Market Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Sembium straddles Paper Mills Road, Madhavaram High Road and Erukkancheri High Road, feeding the Perambur Carriage Works with fabrication shops, rubber and hosiery units, hardware and timber dealers. Bunder Garden Main Street, Melpatti Ponappa Street and Market Street hold provision wholesalers, sweet stalls and lorry booking agents, and the Carriage Works Road sheds house body builders. Transporters issuing consignment notes, reverse charge on freight and e-way bill expiry on Moolakadai bound loads are the standing pain points. Against that backdrop, GST Refund RFD-01 in Sembium demands more than data entry — it needs reconciliation before filing, correct classification and awareness of what local officers examine. Our Chennai team provides exactly that to clients in Sembium, Perambur and Agaram, with same-day responses on working days and WhatsApp updates at every stage. Most routine engagements complete within one to two working days once documents are in hand.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
You receive a WhatsApp message when documents are received, when the draft is ready for your approval, and when the return or application is filed, along with the acknowledgement. You never have to call and ask what is happening with your file.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in Sembium never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We tell you when the composition scheme stops making sense, when QRMP suits your cash flow, and when a supplier's non-compliance is quietly costing you credit. Filing is the minimum; helping you make better GST decisions is the actual job.
If your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B start drifting apart, if a large supplier stops filing, or if your turnover approaches the e-invoice threshold, we flag it to you immediately. Early warnings from our side are cheaper than departmental letters later.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Excess balances parked in the electronic cash ledger are identified during regular ledger reviews and either utilised against upcoming liability or claimed back as a refund, instead of sitting interest-free with the government.
Late-fee waivers and amnesty windows notified by the GST Council are applied to your history within their deadlines, capturing reliefs that most businesses only hear about once the window has already closed.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Consistent, reconciled returns give the department's matching systems nothing to flag. Clients who move to us after years of self-filing typically see scrutiny queries and mismatch notices fall away within a few filing cycles.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
Market Street is a residential street in Sembium, about 1.3 km south of the centre of Sembium. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — sabapathy Street (about 350 m); Carpenter Street (about 350 m); Sankara Mutt Street (about 500 m); Carriage Works Road (about 500 m) — so a site visit on Market Street can usually be combined with other work in Sembium on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Market Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Sembium pincode is 600011.

36th GST Council Meeting (video conferencing) — 27 July 2019 · 2019-07-27
The Council reduced GST on all electric vehicles from 12 per cent to 5 per cent and on chargers or charging stations for electric vehicles from 18 per cent to 5 per cent. Hiring of electric buses with carrying capacity of more than twelve passengers by local authorities was exempted. All these changes took effect from 1 August 2019. The Council also extended the last date for opting into the six per cent service composition scheme in CMP-02 to 30 September 2019.
What it means for you: Electric vehicle dealers and charging point operators in Chennai bill at five per cent, a rate that has survived every later rate revision including GST 2.0.
Circular No. 232/26/2024-GST · 2024-09-10
CBIC clarified that an Indian data hosting provider serving an overseas cloud computing company acts on a principal-to-principal basis and is not an intermediary. The service is not supplied in relation to goods made available by the recipient, nor does it relate to immovable property, since it is a bundle of hosting, power, cooling and connectivity rather than a lease of premises. The place of supply is therefore the recipient's location abroad and the supply qualifies as an export of services.
Why this matters: Chennai data centre and hosting operators billing foreign cloud companies can treat the supply as zero-rated and file refunds of accumulated credit.
Notification No. 9/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025, Schedule I, S. Nos. 388 to 392 (Chapters 61 to 64) · 2025-09-17
From 22 September 2025 articles of apparel and clothing accessories of Chapters 61 and 62, other made-up textile articles of Chapter 63 and footwear of Chapter 64 attract five per cent where the sale value does not exceed Rs 2,500 per piece or per pair, and eighteen per cent where it exceeds that figure. The old thresholds of Rs 1,000 for garments and the flat twelve per cent on all footwear are gone, and the test is sale value, not maximum retail price.
Why this matters: A T. Nagar garment or footwear retailer must map every stock keeping unit against Rs 2,500 of actual sale value, because that single figure determines whether five or eighteen per cent applies.
