GST Notice Reply in Vadapalani does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.2,999, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around NSK Salai — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Vadapalani mixes temple commerce around the Vadapalani Andavar temple with film studios, hotels and mall retail along Arcot Road and the Inner Ring Road, including Forum Vijaya Mall. Restaurants and food outlets juggle the 5 per cent no-ITC rate against 18 per cent banquet contracts, while mall retailers must reconcile e-commerce and POS turnover before filing GSTR-1 by the 11th. From a first registration to the annual return, the full range of GST Notice Reply is available to Vadapalani businesses without stepping far from the shop or office — documents travel over WhatsApp, and our Chennai premises are open to anyone who prefers a face-to-face discussion. We serve Kodambakkam and Saligramam on the same footing, applying one rule everywhere: reconcile before filing, file before the due date, and keep the client informed at every stage.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from Vadapalani are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Vadapalani business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
Your work is executed by trained GST staff working under direct senior supervision, not passed to interns learning on your file. The person preparing your return understands reverse charge, blocked credits and place of supply, because getting these wrong costs you money.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Vadapalani compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
We read the notice line by line, identify the section invoked, the periods covered, the exact information sought and the deadline for response.
The figures alleged in the notice are reconciled against your filed returns, GSTR-2B and books, so the reply is grounded in verifiable numbers rather than assertions.
We draft a professional, point-wise reply addressing every allegation, attaching reconciliations, invoices and legal support, and share the draft with you for approval.
The approved reply is filed on the portal within the deadline. Where a small genuine liability exists, we advise payment through DRC-03 to limit interest and penalty.
We monitor the portal for the officer's response, attend to any further queries or hearing dates, and pursue the matter until a closure or order is received.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Draft reply in 3-5 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
The hours you or your accountant spent wrestling with the portal, JSON errors and reconciliations every month return to sales, operations and customers, while trained hands manage the compliance in the background.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
We spot suppliers who stop uploading invoices or filing returns and alert you before their default becomes your blocked credit, letting you recover amounts or switch vendors while the exposure is still small.
When a business winds up, proper cancellation and a timely final return ensure the file is genuinely closed, so no demand or late-fee computation resurfaces against you long after the shutters came down.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
NSK Salai is a primary arterial road in Vadapalani, about 200 m east of the centre of Vadapalani. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — N.S.K. Salai (about 0 m); Nagerkoyil Sudalaimuthu Krishnan (NSK) Salai (about 0 m); Sannadhi Street (about 150 m); Duraisamy Road (about 200 m) — so a site visit on NSK Salai can usually be combined with other work in Vadapalani on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on NSK Salai falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the Vadapalani pincode is 600026.

Rules 21 and 21A(2A), CGST Rules, 2017, as amended by Notification No. 94/2020-Central Tax · 2020-12-22
Rule 21A(2A) was inserted to allow the officer to suspend a registration immediately, without first giving an opportunity of being heard, where a comparison of the returns with the outward supply statement or with suppliers' data shows significant differences or anomalies indicating contravention. The taxpayer is intimated in Form GST REG-31 and must explain the discrepancies. Rule 21 was simultaneously expanded to add fresh grounds of cancellation, including availing credit in violation of Section 16 and breaching Rule 86B.
How we apply it: A Chennai GSTIN can be suspended overnight on a system-generated mismatch, so a REG-31 intimation must be answered within the time allowed rather than ignored.
Circular No. 237/31/2024-GST · 2024-10-15
CBIC explained the implementation of the retrospective ITC relaxations: for FY 2017-18 to 2020-21, credit claimed in GSTR-3B filed up to 30 November 2021 is valid, and taxpayers with confirmed demands on this sole ground must use the special rectification procedure rather than appeals where the order was not contested. It also clarified, following Section 150 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2024, that no refund arises for tax already paid or credit already reversed on this issue.
What to do about it: The 16(4) relief works only prospectively against pending or unpaid demands; amounts already paid or reversed cannot be recovered as refunds, so prioritise open cases.
Westinghouse Saxby Farmer Ltd v. Commissioner of Central Excise, Calcutta — Supreme Court, AIR 2021 SC 1409, judgment dated 08-03-2021 · 2021-03-08
The Supreme Court held that relays manufactured solely for use in railway signalling equipment were classifiable under the chapter covering railway goods rather than the general electrical apparatus chapter. It applied the relevant section note treating parts suitable for use solely or principally with a particular article as classifiable with that article. The judgment illustrates that classification turns on the statutory notes and the predominant use of the item.
What to do about it: A Chennai manufacturer classifying components should examine the section and chapter notes, as sole or principal use can shift the heading and the GST rate.

Upload the PDF to our free GST Notice Analyser. It identifies which of 34 notice types you have, pulls out the DIN, GSTIN and tax period, reads the reply date printed on the notice and tells you plainly whether that date has already passed — along with the documents and reconciliations you will need. No payment, no account. If the notice does not state a date we can read, it says so rather than guessing one for you.
