One WhatsApp message is how most of our client relationships began. Send yours today and have GST Refund RFD-01 in Vandalur handled end to end from Rs.4,999 — fee confirmed in writing first, documents straight from your phone, acknowledgement the day we file.
We serve businesses on and around 6th Main Road — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Vandalur is known for the Arignar Anna Zoological Park and the Kilambakkam bus terminus on GST Road, with the Outer Ring Road beginning here and institutions such as Crescent Institute and IIITDM at Melakottaiyur close by. Plot promoters and layout developers dominate local business, so distinguishing the exempt sale of land from taxable development services and pricing works contract billing correctly are the recurring GST issues. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GST Refund RFD-01 across Vandalur for years, along with clients from Urapakkam and Perungalathur. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Vandalur regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
Most GST notices trace back to mismatches between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B. We reconcile these before filing, not after a notice arrives, so your returns are internally consistent and the most common triggers for ASMT-10 scrutiny simply never appear.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Vandalur always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
Every new client receives a review of their recent returns before we file anything — unclaimed credit, GSTR-1 versus GSTR-3B drift, and exposures worth correcting quietly. Businesses in Vandalur often discover in this first review exactly why their previous arrangement was costing them money.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
GSTR-1 by the 11th, GSTR-3B by the 20th, CMP-08 by the 18th after each quarter — we maintain a compliance calendar for every client and start chasing your data well before the due date, so late fees never enter the picture.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Advances received for services attract GST on receipt while advances for goods generally do not; applying this distinction correctly means you neither prepay tax unnecessarily nor omit a liability that surfaces later with interest.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Whether moving between composition and regular scheme, opting into QRMP, or crossing the e-invoice threshold at Rs.5 crore, transitions are planned in advance rather than discovered after a compliance breach.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Supplier defaults | Suppliers who stop uploading invoices are identified within the period and pursued before their default becomes your blocked credit. | Missing supplier invoices surface only when credit is denied, by which time recovering the amount from the vendor is difficult. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| Keeping up with changes | Rate changes, portal updates and new thresholds such as the Rs.5 crore e-invoice limit are tracked by us and applied to your case proactively. | Changes are discovered after the fact — often through a rejected filing, a blocked e-way bill or a departmental letter. |
| Portal credentials and data | Logins handled by a small engaged team under strict confidentiality, with credentials stored securely and never passed onward. | Passwords circulating on chats with freelancers and part-timers, and no accountability for who has accessed your business data. |
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
6th Main Road is a residential street in Vandalur, about 1.1 km south-west of the centre of Vandalur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — 7th Main Road (about 50 m); 5th Main Road (about 50 m); 8th Main Road (about 100 m); 4th Main Road (about 100 m) — so a site visit on 6th Main Road can usually be combined with other work in Vandalur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on 6th Main Road falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Vandalur pincode is 600048.

Larsen & Toubro Ltd v. State of Karnataka — Supreme Court, (2014) 1 SCC 708, judgment dated 26-09-2013 · 2013-09-26
The Supreme Court held that where a developer enters into an agreement with a buyer before construction is completed, the construction carried out thereafter is executed for the buyer and constitutes a works contract liable to tax. Tax can be levied only on the value of goods incorporated after the agreement date, and the value of land must be excluded. This judgment underpins the current GST treatment of under-construction property sales.
Why this matters: Chennai builders must charge GST on units booked before completion, and must correctly exclude the land component from the taxable value.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
What it means for you: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
37th GST Council Meeting, Goa — 20 September 2019 · 2019-09-20
The Council replaced the declared tariff basis for hotel accommodation with actual transaction value and reset the slabs with effect from 1 October 2019: nil where the value is up to Rs 1,000 per day, 12 per cent between Rs 1,001 and Rs 7,500, and 18 per cent above Rs 7,500. Outdoor catering, other than in premises having daily tariff above Rs 7,500, was reduced from 18 per cent with input tax credit to 5 per cent without credit. This substantially reduced tax on mid-segment hotels and on marriage and event catering.
Practical effect: Chennai hotels and outdoor caterers had to rebuild their rate logic around the actual amount charged, and caterers lost input credit in exchange for the lower five per cent rate.
