GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing in Vandalur does not have to mean portal errors, guesswork and due-date tension. For a fixed fee starting Rs.749, an accountable Chennai practice prepares, reconciles, reviews and files — and remains answerable long after the acknowledgement arrives.
We serve businesses on and around Kannagi Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Vandalur is known for the Arignar Anna Zoological Park and the Kilambakkam bus terminus on GST Road, with the Outer Ring Road beginning here and institutions such as Crescent Institute and IIITDM at Melakottaiyur close by. Plot promoters and layout developers dominate local business, so distinguishing the exempt sale of land from taxable development services and pricing works contract billing correctly are the recurring GST issues. We have supported businesses of exactly this profile with GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Monthly Filing across Vandalur for years, along with clients from Urapakkam and Perungalathur. The engagement is simple: one point of contact, a clear fee, documents over WhatsApp or in person at our Chennai office, and senior review before anything is submitted on the portal. What you get in return is clean filings, archived records and far fewer reasons for the department to write to you.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
New GSTIN applications, core field amendments through REG-14, additional places of business — we prepare complete, query-resistant applications the first time. Clean paperwork is the difference between smooth approval and weeks lost answering clarification memos from the department.
Your sales figures, supplier lists and login credentials are handled only by our engaged team, stored securely and never shared with any third party. Many of our clients in Vandalur compete with each other; complete confidentiality is a condition of our work.
We match your purchase register against GSTR-2B every period, follow up on invoices your suppliers have not uploaded, and ensure every rupee of eligible input tax credit is claimed. Clients routinely recover credit they were silently losing under self-filing.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in Vandalur through each of these so month one starts correctly.
Businesses with registrations in more than one State, or multiple branches under one PAN, face cross-charge, stock transfer and input service distribution questions that single-GSTIN firms never see. We keep all your registrations consistent with each other, not just compliant individually.
Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, marketplace reports, plain Excel or even a handwritten bill book — we take your data in whatever form your Vandalur business already maintains it. You are never forced to buy new software or retrain staff just to become our client.
At month end we remind you and collect sales invoices, purchase bills and credit notes in whatever format you maintain, including Excel, Tally exports or scanned copies.
We prepare invoice-wise outward supply details, validate GSTINs of your B2B customers, summarise B2C supplies and file GSTR-1 on the portal before the 11th.
We download your auto-drafted GSTR-2B, match it against purchase records, and claim only eligible input tax credit so that mismatches do not trigger scrutiny notices later.
We compute net tax payable after ITC set-off, share the working with you for approval, and generate the payment challan for any cash liability.
After your confirmation and tax payment, we file GSTR-3B before the 20th and send you both filed acknowledgements along with a one-page summary of the month.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Filed before the 11th and 20th of every month · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided

Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
When a query or verification comes, you respond through a professional who deals with the department regularly, in the department's own language and format, instead of facing an officer's letter alone.
Rates, reverse charge, place of supply and blocked credits are applied correctly at the preparation stage, so you neither overpay tax you do not owe nor underpay and invite demands with penalty later.
Complete RFD-01 applications with proper statements and annexures move through the system faster and attract fewer deficiency memos, which means export and inverted-duty refunds reach your bank account sooner.
Tax positions, rate choices and credit calls are documented as they are made, so if a question arises years later, the reasoning and evidence are on file rather than in someone's fading memory.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Input tax credit | Purchase register matched against GSTR-2B each period, with defaulting suppliers chased so eligible credit is actually captured. | Credit claimed from books alone; mismatches with GSTR-2B mean lost credit or excess claims that invite departmental queries. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
Kannagi Street is a residential street in Vandalur, about 1.4 km south-west of the centre of Vandalur. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Kovalan Street (about 50 m); 1st Main Road (about 100 m); Bharathi Street (about 100 m); 2nd Main Road (about 100 m) — so a site visit on Kannagi Street can usually be combined with other work in Vandalur on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Kannagi Street falls under the Chennai Outer CGST Commissionerate, and the Vandalur pincode is 600048.
Road classification and position from OpenStreetMap; distances are straight-line and approximate. Jurisdiction must be confirmed on your own registration certificate.
We track every notification, circular and judgment that changes a filing position, so your returns and replies reflect the current law.
GSTN Advisory dated 7 June 2025 — non-editable auto-populated liability in GSTR-3B · 2025-06-07
After an October 2024 advisory and a January 2025 deferment, GSTN confirmed that from the July 2025 tax period the auto-populated outward tax liability in GSTR-3B, drawn from GSTR-1, IFF or GSTR-1A, is hard-locked and cannot be edited manually while filing. Any correction to sales figures must be made through GSTR-1A before GSTR-3B is filed. The change is intended to end mismatches between GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
How we apply it: Reconcile sales data before filing GSTR-1 each month, since GSTR-3B can no longer be adjusted at the last minute.
M/s. Prime Gold International Ltd v. Additional Director General — Madras High Court, W.P. No. 8203 of 2022, decided 2 August 2023 (C. Saravanan J.) · 2023-08-02
The petitioner challenged a provisional attachment of its bank account. By the time the matter was heard, one year had elapsed from the date of the order. The Court observed that orders of attachment under Section 83 are self-limiting and remain in force for one year only, after which nothing survives for adjudication. The writ petition was accordingly closed, the attachment having ceased to operate by force of the statute itself.
What it means for you: A Chennai business should diarise the date of any Section 83 attachment — after twelve months the bank must release the account, and a fresh order is required if the department wants to continue.
Saro Enterprises - AAR Tamil Nadu (2018), upheld by AAAR Tamil Nadu, order dated 6 February 2019 · 2018
The applicant made polypropylene and recycled plastic trays used by farmers to raise paddy and vegetable seedlings, and argued that they were agricultural implements. The Authority held that the trays are other articles of plastic under heading 3926 90 99 and are taxable at 9 percent central tax and 9 percent State tax. Use in agriculture does not by itself bring a product within the exempt agricultural implements entry, and the material and the tariff description prevail over the end use.
How we apply it: Chennai suppliers to the farm sector cannot assume exemption merely because the buyer uses the product in agriculture.
