Most of it happens without you leaving your shop counter. Share your documents on WhatsApp, approve the prepared draft, and your New GST Registration is completed on the portal from Rs.1,499 — by a Chennai team that businesses across Villivakkam have relied on for years.
We serve businesses on and around Mounasamy Madam Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
Villivakkam pairs a dense residential core around South Mada Street with small-scale industry in SIDCO Nagar, where electrical component, sheet metal and printing units work as vendors to larger factories in Ambattur and Padi. Most units sit under Rs.5 crore turnover, so choosing between QRMP with IFF and monthly filing, and clearing recurring GSTR-2B mismatches, defines GST work here. That commercial character shapes the GST questions we see from Villivakkam every week — registrations, monthly returns, credit mismatches and departmental queries. We deliver New GST Registration for businesses in Villivakkam, and clients also reach us from Kolathur and Perambur nearby. Documents move over WhatsApp, drafts are approved before filing, and a senior consultant reviews every submission, so distance from our office never dilutes the quality of the work.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
We are a Chennai firm with a physical office, not a faceless portal. If you prefer to sit across a table with your papers, you are welcome. Clients from Villivakkam regularly visit us for registrations, notice discussions and annual return reviews.
You are told the full fee before we begin, in writing. No surprise additions for uploads, revisions or acknowledgements. Government fees and taxes, where applicable, are shown separately, so businesses in Villivakkam always know exactly what the engagement costs them.
When an ADT-01 audit intimation or a personal hearing date arrives, we compile the records, prepare the reconciliations and draft the submissions, and coordinate closely with your authorised representative. You walk into the proceeding prepared, not improvising in front of an officer.
Send your query on call or WhatsApp and you hear back the same working day, usually within a few hours. When a due date is close or a notice has landed, waiting two days for a reply is simply not acceptable, and we know it.
GSTR-3B late fees run at Rs.50 per day and interest at 18 percent per annum on unpaid tax. Our internal cut-offs sit days ahead of statutory due dates precisely so that our clients never hand the department a rupee they did not owe.
OTP failures, DSC errors, stuck submissions on due-date evenings — we deal with the GST portal daily and know the workarounds. When the site misbehaves on the 20th, our team keeps retrying and escalating so your return still goes through.
You share PAN, Aadhaar, photographs, address proof and bank details over WhatsApp or email. We review each document against portal requirements and flag anything that could trigger an officer query.
We draft Form GST REG-01 with the correct business constitution, principal place of business, HSN or SAC codes and authorised signatory details, then share a summary for your confirmation.
The application is filed on the GST portal and we guide the authorised signatory through Aadhaar OTP authentication, which speeds up approval and usually avoids physical verification of premises.
We track the ARN daily. If the officer issues a notice in Form REG-03 seeking clarification, we draft and file the reply in Form REG-04 within the permitted time.
Once approved, we download your registration certificate in Form REG-06, help set up portal login credentials, and brief you on invoice format, return due dates and e-way bill obligations.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: 3-7 working days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Because monthly data is reconciled as it happens, GSTR-9 preparation before the 31 December due date becomes a review exercise rather than a painful reconstruction of twelve untidy months.
Filed returns, challans, reconciliations and working papers are archived in order from day one. If an audit or departmental verification comes, your file is ready the same week, not assembled in a panic.
Continuous filing protects you from the suspension and cancellation proceedings that hit chronic non-filers, so your registration, e-way bill access and ability to issue tax invoices are never suddenly cut off.
Getting IGST versus CGST and SGST right at the invoice stage spares you the painful cycle of paying the correct head again and pursuing a refund of the amount paid under the wrong one.
Your billing staff are guided on invoice fields, rates and series discipline, so mistakes are prevented where they originate — at the counter — instead of being repaired later in the returns.
Your scheme choice — regular, composition or QRMP — is re-examined as turnover and margins change, so you are always paying under the structure that legitimately costs your business the least.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Risk of notices | GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-2B reconciled before filing, removing the mismatches that trigger most scrutiny notices. | Inconsistent figures across returns quietly build a mismatch history that surfaces later as ASMT-10 scrutiny or a demand notice. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| Late fees and interest | Filings go in ahead of statutory dates, so the Rs.50-per-day late fee and 18 percent interest never arise. | Late fees accumulate silently every delayed day, and interest on unpaid tax runs at 18 percent per annum. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
Mounasamy Madam Street is a main connecting road in Villivakkam, about 150 m north-west of the centre of Villivakkam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Redhills Road (about 100 m); Baali Amman Koil Street (about 100 m); W Mada Street (about 200 m); North Mada Street (about 250 m) — so a site visit on Mounasamy Madam Street can usually be combined with other work in Villivakkam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Mounasamy Madam Street falls under the Chennai North CGST Commissionerate, and the Villivakkam pincode is 600049.

9th GST Council Meeting, New Delhi — 16 January 2017 (Signed Minutes, Agenda Item 3) · 2017-01-16
The dual-control deadlock that had stalled several earlier meetings was broken. The Council agreed that taxpayers would be divided between Central and State tax administrations for all administrative purposes: of taxpayers with turnover below Rs 1.5 crore, 90 per cent would go to the State administration and 10 per cent to the Centre, while taxpayers above Rs 1.5 crore would be split equally. Division was to be by computerised stratified random sampling at the State level, with both administrations retaining intelligence-based enforcement powers over the whole value chain. West Bengal recorded its dissent.
Why this matters: This is why a Chennai taxpayer is assigned either to the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Department or to CGST Chennai, and why notices come from only one of them for routine matters.
Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd v. Raman Ispat (P) Ltd — Supreme Court, judgment dated 17-07-2023 · 2023-07-17
The Supreme Court distinguished its earlier Rainbow Papers ruling and held that in liquidation, government and statutory dues fall under Section 53(1)(e) of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, ranking below secured creditors and workmen's dues. Rainbow Papers was confined to its own facts, where a resolution plan had been approved ignoring statutory dues. The waterfall mechanism laid down by Parliament must be respected and cannot be overridden by a general statutory charge.
Why this matters: For a Chennai business in liquidation, GST arrears will be paid only after secured lenders and workmen, which affects how recovery notices against the company should be handled.
Circular No. 32/06/2018-GST dated 12.02.2018 · 2018-02-12
This early circular resolved several healthcare and accommodation questions. It clarified that room rent charged by a hospital to an in-patient and food supplied to admitted patients as advised by the doctor form part of exempt composite healthcare services, while food sold to attendants and visitors is taxable. It also clarified that where a hospital engages senior consultants and retains a share of their fees, the entire consideration charged to the patient is exempt healthcare service. Separately it dealt with hostel accommodation below the then exemption threshold.
Why this matters: Chennai hospitals should keep patient billing separate from cafeteria and visitor sales, because only the patient-facing package enjoys the healthcare exemption.
