Late fees, blocked credit and mismatch notices cost far more than professional help ever will. We complete GST Refund RFD-01 for West Mambalam businesses from Rs.4,999, matching every figure against portal data before anything reaches the department.
We serve businesses on and around Vasudevapuram Street — document pickup, in-person consultation at our Porur office, or fully online over WhatsApp.
Share your number — a senior GST consultant calls you back within 30 minutes.
GST does not distinguish between a large showroom and a small service unit — the due dates and matching systems apply equally to both. West Mambalam packs caterers, flower and pooja goods sellers, tailoring units and tuition centres into dense streets like Lake View Road and Arya Gowda Road beside Mambalam railway station. Family-run businesses here often operate near the Rs.40 lakh goods and Rs.20 lakh services registration thresholds, so registration timing, composition eligibility and purchases from unregistered dealers are the common questions. That is why our GST Refund RFD-01 engagements in West Mambalam follow the same discipline whatever the client's size: written checklists, reconciliation before filing and every acknowledgement archived. Businesses from T. Nagar and Ashok Nagar run on the same process, entirely over WhatsApp if they prefer.
Not a bulk-filing portal. A senior consultant knows your file, your jurisdiction and your deadlines.
No filing leaves our desk on a junior's judgement alone. A senior GST practitioner reviews your figures, ITC claims and tax computation before submission, so errors are caught at our table and not by the department months later through a notice.
GSTR-1 requires four-digit HSN reporting for turnover up to Rs.5 crore and six digits above it, and a wrong code often means a wrong rate. We verify the classification of what you actually supply, so your invoices and returns rest on defensible codes.
A new GSTIN comes with obligations nobody explains at approval — the invoice series rules, displaying the registration certificate and GSTIN at your premises, and the first return cycle. We walk new registrants in West Mambalam through each of these so month one starts correctly.
E-invoicing is mandatory once turnover crosses Rs.5 crore and e-way bills apply to goods movements above Rs.50,000. We set up, train and troubleshoot both systems, so your despatches from West Mambalam are never held up by a compliance gap at the gate.
Whenever the GST Council notifies a late-fee waiver or an amnesty window for pending returns or old demands, we check every client's history against it and act within the deadline. Relief that businesses in West Mambalam would otherwise read about after it lapsed reaches our clients in time.
Winding up attracts its own GST obligations — the cancellation application, reversal of credit on closing stock, and the final return in GSTR-10 within three months. We close registrations properly so a business you shut in West Mambalam never writes back to you as a demand years later.
We identify the correct refund category, confirm the two-year limitation from the relevant date, and compute the admissible amount using the formula prescribed under the rules.
Invoices, shipping bills, FIRCs, the LUT and ledger extracts are compiled into the prescribed statements, and gaps that commonly cause deficiency memos are fixed upfront.
The refund application is filed on the portal with all annexures and declarations, and the acknowledgement in RFD-02 is tracked within the statutory fifteen days.
We respond to any deficiency memo in RFD-03 or show cause notice in RFD-08, appear through written submissions, and pursue provisional refund where the category permits.
We track the sanction order in RFD-06 and payment advice in RFD-05, confirm the credit in your validated bank account, and archive the complete claim file.
Send these on WhatsApp (+91 - 9600 606 444) and we take it forward the same day.
Timeline: Application filed in 3-5 working days; sanction typically within 60 days · No hidden charges · GST invoice provided
Practical outcomes our clients measure us by.
Correct e-way bills matched to correct invoices mean your consignments clear roadside inspections cleanly, avoiding detention proceedings whose penalties can far exceed the tax on the goods being carried.
You know your expected GST outflow days before the 20th, not on the night of filing. That advance visibility lets you plan payments, collections and bank balances instead of scrambling for funds at the deadline.
Funding rounds, partnerships and business sales all begin with a compliance check. A clean, documented GST history lets you clear that scrutiny quickly instead of watching a deal stall over old filing gaps.
Large buyers check vendor GST compliance before releasing payments and renewing contracts. A clean filing record with timely GSTR-1 uploads keeps your invoices reflecting in their GSTR-2B and your payments unblocked.
Amounts deducted by government buyers as GST TDS and by marketplaces as TCS are accepted on the portal each period, so money withheld against your GSTIN actually reaches your cash ledger instead of lying unclaimed.
Illness, travel or a family function no longer threatens a deadline. With a standing external process holding your calendar and data trail, filings proceed on schedule whether or not you are at your desk.
| Aspect | With ChennaiGST | DIY / Unattended |
|---|---|---|
| Record keeping | Every return, challan, acknowledgement and working paper archived in an organised folder, retrievable in minutes years later. | Documents scattered across email, downloads and old phones; assembling records for a bank or an audit takes days. |
| Refund claims | RFD-01 filed with complete statements and annexures, tracked from ARN to bank credit, with any deficiency memo answered promptly. | Incomplete claims bounce back as deficiency memos while the refund sits unclaimed for months and working capital stays blocked. |
| When a notice arrives | A professional drafts the reply in the department's format and files it within the statutory window, such as thirty days for ASMT-11. | You face departmental language alone, and a missed reply deadline can convert a simple query into a demand with penalty. |
| Goods in transit | E-way bills generated correctly and matched to invoices, so consignments pass roadside inspections without detention or penalty. | A defective or missing e-way bill can mean detention at a checkpoint, with penalties that dwarf the tax on the consignment. |
| Annual return preparation | Monthly reconciliations roll naturally into GSTR-9, filed comfortably before 31 December with figures already agreed through the year. | Twelve months of unmatched data reconstructed in December, with differences discovered too late to be corrected cleanly. |
| Due-date tracking | A maintained compliance calendar with internal cut-offs days before the 11th and the 20th; we chase you for data, not the other way around. | Deadlines remembered from memory or phone alarms; one busy week and the return slips past the due date. |
Vasudevapuram Street is a residential street in West Mambalam, about 700 m north-east of the centre of West Mambalam. The same consultant covers the streets immediately around it — Chakrapani Street (about 50 m); Brindavan Street (about 300 m); Chakrapani Street Ext (about 350 m); Umapathy Street (about 400 m) — so a site visit on Vasudevapuram Street can usually be combined with other work in West Mambalam on the same trip. For GST purposes an address on Vasudevapuram Street falls under the Chennai South CGST Commissionerate, and the West Mambalam pincode is 600033.

Notification No. 10/2025-Central Tax (Rate), dated 17 September 2025 · 2025-09-17
Superseding the 2017 exemption notification, this list re-notifies all nil-rated goods with effect from 22 September 2025 and widens it significantly. Ultra-high temperature milk became exempt, chena and paneer became exempt whether or not pre-packaged and labelled, and all Indian breads including roti, chapathi, paratha, parotta, khakhra and pizza bread were exempted by name. Pencils, crayons, sharpeners, slates, maps, globes and exercise books were also brought to nil.
Why this matters: Dairy shops and bakeries in Chennai now bill paneer and parotta at nil, but must remember that exempt turnover blocks the corresponding input tax credit.
Saraf Natural Stone v. Union of India — Gujarat High Court, Special Civil Application No. 15925 of 2018, judgment dated 10 July 2019 · 2019-07-10
The exporter's refund was released long after the period allowed by the statute, and the department resisted paying interest for the delay. The High Court held that where refund is delayed beyond the statutory period the obligation to pay interest arises automatically, and that a taxpayer should not be driven to litigation to obtain what the law already provides. Interest was awarded for the period of delay.
Practical effect: Where a refund is paid late, make a separate written claim for interest — courts treat it as a statutory entitlement rather than a concession.
CBIC Frequently Asked Questions on GST on pre-packaged and labelled goods, dated 17 July 2022 · 2022-07-17
A day before the change took effect, the Tax Research Unit issued FAQs explaining that the expression takes its meaning from the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and covers commodities intended for retail sale in packs of up to twenty-five kilograms or twenty-five litres that must bear statutory declarations. A single package above that limit is not covered, nor are packs supplied to an industrial or institutional consumer. Loose sale from a large pack by a retailer does not attract the levy.
Why this matters: A fifty-kilogram rice bag sold as one package stays outside the levy, but the moment it is repacked into labelled retail bags of twenty-five kilograms or less, five per cent applies.
